Thank you for explaining. Absolute truth is more likely a question for quantum physicists. Practically yes. Time horrizon. And also the priority of the facts about Switzerland itself. Eying their currency.

EU jumps 250 pips on major news and this pair barely moves. I understand why people moved away from this strange game.

On the H4 chart the price is going bullish and by having the harmonic pattern formed we will see a reversal. We are expecting to see a growth by having 1.2077 area broken above.

i don't know what happened this morning but most probably they want to take it to the floor and burn retail who are barely hanging in there because no one expected that it would even go below 1.2130 not even when during the last bailout of Cyprus it didn't go below the 1.21. Ukraine news doesn't seem to have any impact on the pair anymore. we just have to wait for some good news from the ECB, and i don't think we will get such news anytime soon. we don't have any other choice than waiting. another thing i don't know if this 20% gold/reserve thing is or partly priced in. There is a good chance that the 1.2050 support is going to be broken, the EC didn't dive from 1.2140 till here just to test it, the pressure is huge but i am not worried about the floor to be breached if things goes that far.so prepare your margins and reserves

Some of us Bulls had same view, if in same or different method does not matter. But what was the market decision!? other than take EC down again in a BS movement that resembles nothing technical. Ofcourse will never say market is always right like many traders take an example of!!!
When market move stupidly then it is wrong for sure. The worst of all that even scalping on this pair at current level have become difficult.
The pair moved all yesterday in 2-3 pip from the lower price reached to later on go to the top starting then ending new york session.
So, when a bull has a long at 1.2062-63, must guess that it will not go more than 1.2065?! and exit then enter many times for 2 pips!!!. When the price is crazily very good for at very least 10 pips normally!!

At the 15 pip fall, it must had went up 10-15 pips. The problem now is not EC falling below 1.2050s because I still find it tough support but in EC becoming a waste of time for even scalpers(Bulls) unless we are talking 2-3 pips from now on!!!
Trade according to current market condition, not what you think would be.

Yes, scalping also has become difficult, only downward trends are much faster and decided.

We must remember that while the pressure is high, 1.2060 or 50 is not 1.20, SMB has no reason to intervene at these level and they are OK keeping things "stable" by talking only, which is free.

Why would there be an intervention ?
I have the sensation a lot of people don't make the difference beetween their wishes and the reality...

EDIT: Even if E/C goes down to 1.20, they will defend the floor, that's it (just buy at 1.20). They did nothing more in the past, why would they now ?

Although I remain bullish, can someone tell me how the SNB can maintain the cap if the Swiss Gold referendum is yes? Surely, if x% of their fx is in gold, it throws "unlimited" intervention out the window, no?

And here... People in Switzerland are affraid, that they lost value as CHF, so they want Gold. But Jordan and top ppl in economy see it not good for economy etc...
