found opportunity to short EURUSD at 1.28.
lol i still have my SL for the GBPUSD at 1.6088 shorted from 1.6250 soo thats still good...

Still holding to that short. was a scary 80 pip drawdown on that trade though....

you do realize a smaller inventory number is good for the USD?
it actually means businesses are actually selling stuff...
so my guess is that the retail figures are phony.... just to wash out all the shorters... as EURUSD was pretty darn one sided short.... a lot of shorters are washed out now the thing can fall... as retail traders turned bullish after they got wiped out as bears....
i see the EURUSD gaining enough momentum to head for 1.22 now...
a 4H close below 1.2750 would confirm my case.

Am i right in saying the data is lagging and if we see big inventory builds then we’ll have cause for concern?

Yeah, longing GBP/USD is a fundamentally sound trade - IMO. Given that USD is on shaky ground, and GBP looks oversold.
