UK CPI was the worst in 10 years. The move seemed reasonable based on that and German ZEW alone. AbbVie wasn't decided until today.

It's 5 Trillion, not 30 Trillion.

The 5 Trillion figure is a combined total across all instruments. Sterling accounts for only 12% of the total Forex flow. Out of that number, a lot of the flow is HFT inside the spread (which has a nominal effect on price movement) and smaller speculative positions, which is much different than a high volume offload. So yes, 55 Billion on a single instrument in large orders in a single direction can move the market. How much depends on the liquidity at the time it's being sold.
