The only thing I would say is that the synergy/ha candles move an average of between 3-8 of one colour usually before a retrace, the one you went in on was number 7 I think (can't see the attachment too clearly), that along with it being very close to a resistance level I have on my chart, would be enough for me not to take the trade at that time.

Thanks for the answer. I am using the supdem indicator posted in this thread on default settings. I will look out for the number of apb:s colours in the future.

I'm in this trade, the first image is of the broker I took it on , as it has a much lower spread on EN than the other one I use (15 pip spread on GKFX!) but I haven't got the templates on there, the second image is what I was looking at, at the time of the trade.

In the chart you posted, I see the tdi cross happening earlier but your first entry looks to be little late after cross. Is this any special entry condition. Also whats the add condition followed here.

Thanks ThescropS and rkp for your kind words. I'm still in the learning phase and try mark my charts for my reference and to answer any unasked questions.

My CM settings change time to time but I try to stick with my 20 pips initial TP as it helps me out take fear out of my trading a little bit. Initial SL depends on where you take a trade, Fib levels, how strong or weak the SR is, What is your trading Time frame and your risk:reward ratio.

TIP: I take the cross hair tool on the MT4 and measure my SL before opening Cavemanger.

For TP by Batches:
1st 50% at 20 pips (Fib level taken into account)
2nd 20 % at another fib level, previous structure taken into account
3rd 20 % at another fib level, previous structure taken into account
4th let the rest 10% run for max

TDI confirmation is one of the best option for profit taking and exiting for manual trading.

SL Trailing
-3 pips above the HL option used (I'm still playing with this one)

My CM settings (This is the initial one I keep changing it)

Hi tradesmarty,

We saw USDJPY had a very strong up trend and Sep month was exceptional hitting the golden 110.00 level.
Most trends end in consolidation before market decide the next move. The first TDI cross we see on D chart does not mean the trend ended and market will reverse.
Using chart patterns like Double Tops, Triple Tops, Head and Shoulders, is what I use to look for consolidation and reversal. There was double tops with a bearish D inside bar for my setup.
But what we see now in D chart is not a reversal but a major correction of the Aug - Sep run up. But this corrective move has some room for position trading.
Until I see a weekly and daily setup for buying, I stay on the seller side for now.
Just wait and listen to what the 3 wise men - Abe, Aso and Kuroda will say and do in this last Quarter of this year. Japan inflation check at 2%.... is working.
We may see a gradual rise to 120.00 level...question is how long will that take.

SL Traling -3pips behind HL is too tight for most pairs and taking spread into consideration.
Try with larger pips 10 pips behind HL

or set trailing using the APB/HA high low, usually 2 candles look back work a lot better for strong trend move. Look at the flat end of the APB/HA candles.

Also, if you let 4th batch run till maximum, you can use the set Preceding TP to 60% of the ADR, and this way THV CM will push the TP and the trend breaks away. "Let Profit Run" conccept.
Hint:
MT4 crosshair short cut, press on mouse scroll wheel to activate the cross hair.

GBPNZD week42 D trades:
Waited many days for an entry opportunity and yesterday morning was a very nice H1 TMS setup with D sell bias.
First trade at BE, add-on second position today.

Will be watching closely if NZDUSD breaks above the 0.7900 level.
