Doesnt matter... Good equity good fund flows into US.... doesnt mean people in US are gona have a better lifestyle but well as long as US can rack up returns for foreign investors. its all good for us...

Yes, all true but, to the ones that don't give a rats arse about any of that, a collapse in equities is the only "crisis" that concerns them. That's coming as well. But again they will be/are prepared for it. The rest of us better be good at growing food.

knowing each transaction has a fixed per-transaction fee... you'd be dumb not to work with the 1 client worth 1 billion usd

goes to show how the 99% doesnt really matter....
its the rich 1% that matters the most... they own businesses so if these guys are not happy with their investments, no jobs would be created for the 1 billion people worth 1 usd.

How exotic?
we do equity linked, capital protected products, interest linked products,
structured notes.
and lately because im in HK we are adjusting our business to cope with a really REALLY large flow of CNH demand..... because of the Hong Kong - Shanghai Stock Connect....
it means the further easing of China's currency for Hong Kong investors and china investors to deal freely in China stock markets or HK markets....
this is gona get a lot of fund flowing into Hong Kong and into China or China into Hong Kong...

As for exotics like
Interest swaps, Currency Swap, heck we even do Volatility linked products...
and yes we do have some high flows on them, seems like the only way (complex way) that is capable of earning the bucks nowadays... spots been hard....
But one thing is for sure... with the lack of Volatility, its been tough..... its like flow being grindingly slower and slower...

Well, option at 6100 wasn't hit, did it even exist? Let me think logically...so a company trading with billions is going to take the price down from 6250 almost 140 pips...just to stop 11 pips from their option expiry, so they not only lose the money they had to invest to get the price down, but also lose 1 billion dollars on top of that.

I know how the world works, I am just saying its wrong that its done to such an extreme in the US, life was better in the 70s, but since then its only going downhill. Soon, americans will go do au-pair work in Russia, to make some extra bucks...so sad what happened to a great country.
