It's been a clear regular 3-3-5 flat correction developing since 10 September, now still in wave (b), with probable setup for wave (c) advance when (b) terminates.

Hi Everyone, just a question,- on average, how many pips do you take in per trade.
(Average trade you would close for profit- either manually or preplanned target)

Just assessing my trading as a swing trader as well as a shortterm trader.

perhaps you'd be better off trading H4, Daily and Weekly charts...

none the less im still bearish GBPUSD shorted since 1.6233 initial target at 1.6088, SL if daily close above 1.6388
Will close half my position when i hit my intial target of 1.6088 and move SL to BE for the remaining position.

You would only get "yoyoed" in and out if you trade anything lower than a Daily chart... Look at the bigger picture... PMI data and news and data release are already PART of the daily and weekly chart Price action....

rather than looking at M30 and playing intraday markets where data release creates noise... why dont you just trade larger time frame and filter out the noise...

you'll turn crazy with heart problems if you keep monitoring the market on charts less than Daily.... for me....
i just look at the Daily chart once a day to determine entry and exits on candle closes.....

i tried that but i like the scalping part of fx ,and also posted that this is not good for your health ,,so i do agree with all that you say, regards

gl mate - for me, if the pa looks good and we have a set-up I don't mind entering before the data release, it's just a catalyst for price - right now she's at an awkward place, as I see it - so waiting for a better place, I may well miss the boat, but had a good eu trade this am already, so feel like i can afford to be picky

i see that you have been in the fx a while ,i was going to pack it in about 1 month ago,i like the challange part of it ,i dont like to lose like the rest of us, now back in work and being pressured to come out of my retirement??
