roughly speaking gbp cad was 100 pips north at the time of post ,
beware of Greeks bearing gifts
basically it bounced off previous consolidation

I use always close price too by different view...
That is why my longs will be closed if price could close under ~6280...

still sticking to this 70pip range strong support at 1.6335 which is also 200ema on 60min could be possible long from this level back up to test the top towards 1.641 again...

edit: long from 1.634 with another pending buy on 1.6335 targeting retrace up toward 1.641 levels

we are at a ton of MAJOR support levels and I see a bounce up from here moving above monthly fib support level

Good point. And there're lots of stops overhead left open by traders who just sold; if Asia takes them out , we'll be easily seeing 1.6400 by LDN.

this there was a lot of profit taking from the failed break of 1.641 and the good US data (hence the big drop off back down to the 1.6335 or 200ema level) now as the selling is leveling out and more buyers are loading back up we should see a price bounce from these levels as most big US buyers loaded up and are now heading home for the day. Coupled with the major support levels across all time frames I see a rise up back towards the 1.641 levels.
