Guys, Does anyone knows why it is ranging in 10 pips? That too so drastically. Are we waiting for any "special" news?

It may be ranging small until FOMC tomorrow.

EDIT: Actually, Scotland poll after market close, so expecting some crazy move when new day starts.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Can't really see that happening. Not much good coming out of EZ at the moment, which only emphasizes that we're in a consolidation phase, before further downside.

Nice observation . Speaking of weekl y seems everytime it got reversal at this support line It happened quick with no hesitation and no sign od down ,but this time remind me of hammer we had in weekly just recently and no big reversal and that led to one biiiiiig fall . So unless news trigger a bullish movement eur usd face same fate as that one before and more fall
People wont learn to post analysis in forums not "I think its down/up!"

I am inclined to agree with Homer Simpson here. I mean if i KNEW this or that is oversold/overbought and how to tell the difference if it is or not, i wouldnt have to trade, just place one trade and bet my whole account and then i would have doubled it and do that a couple of times and bring on all the drinks and sunscreen and dancing and everything.

So of course, "overbought" or "oversold" is, have always been and will always be relative terms, only meaningfull if they are defined, tested, proven. Just saying something is "overbought" or "oversold" is like saying: I dont know whats going on.

Well, if you "know" the range, sell at the top, close at the bottom, buy, close at the top and do it over again. Thats sort of what i do. Maybe. Sometimes. If im not wrong.

Yeah. I was doing that since yesterday in 20 pips range. Suddenly it shrink to less than 10 pips. I was wondering what cause that. I got the answer.

Indeed . I agree totally with a BUT in such support area in weekly could be a temporary down and get back up after that . So l should ask how far you think it goes down and why ?

At least beyond 1.2860, I say that because of the proximity of this ranging market to that level, given how long they've been gathering supply (since the sideways market started) I'd say we at least get that far but likely further - can't say if it will go beyond 1.2835 or so but I wouldn't be surprised. Keep in mind that before FOMC tomorrow or the Scottish vote on Thursday we may see a temporary markup, but it will be just that, temporary, that supply has to go somewhere before a move up.

No indicator is 100% safe and the more of them are being used, the more confusing it gets. Best is to watch the PA develop over the day, it sets the high, the bottom and important fight zones.

I use an indicator named "overbored". Works every time
