No stop loss for position traders.

May be this is how they trade.

1.6000 or below is expected if the scotty voting makes a turn around.

Thats why I made my first post about him in the first place, when he missed his TP by 4 pips and then went into a 300 pip drawdown. He is not a real trader, he is just someone boosting his ego in here, I doubt he even trades for real, online anyone can claim anything and I can have 100 screenshots of anything done in 5 minutes. His behaviour, that he stubbornly holds a trade, no matter what, thats not what good traders do and its definitely not what big traders do.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Around 18th Sep there may be a massive spike up, reaching his targets. This spike anyone can say cuz of the nature of the very important vote.
He will probably take it for himself saying i knew this would happen, but he'll forget about the times he said it will deify logic when it was at 1.6650 or something while i go on holiday and ask me about it in two weeks, or the about how the price was staying around (his first long entry) 1.6720 cuz it wants to go up now, or how the stops are getting taken out at 1.6610, to be ready to shoot up (stops being taken out would mean its ready to drop or something?)

Im sure hes getting a report ready with lots of colours and going to name lots of members on it........

my plan this week:

range to be played 16275 - 16120 before another storm next week. sell zone 162750-16250 sl 16305 tp 16175-16150. buy zone with tight sl and see PA action @ 161xx for scalp only.

Re: Weekend broker gaps and stop-loss orders.

Hi guys,
I wonder if someone else has experienced such a situation with your broker(s) and is there a point in placing a stop-loss orders at all over the weekend.
I’m trading a spread-betting account with GFT in UK. Last Friday 5.Sep I went long GBP/USD at 1,6309 and placed a stop-loss order at 1,6389. This evening as you all know the GBP/USD opened with a gap down and my stop-loss order was never executed by GFT at 1,6389. I spoke to someone on the phone and the simple answer was that during the week it wouldn’t be a problem to close my position at the stop-loss 1,6389 but because the markets are closed during the weekend, GFT did not have the responsibility to close it at 1,6389 and closed it 142 points below my stop-loss order at the time when the markets opened . Are they right to say and do so and is this classed as extreme / volatile time all over the markets i.e similar to 9/11?? Any thoughts, please?
Did you place your stop loss order? Why not?!? Story of my life...

My brokers had a 160 pips spike/gap down at open today- biggest I've ever seen.
