Why are people so resistant to using TE anyway? They say they don't need to prove anything, yet they spend time posting entries, posting exits, and even posting jpegs of account statements as proof. The point is, FF went through a lot of trouble to develop some excellent tools for trade metrics. They are great for learning and also can remove a lot of the doubts that cause disagreements and acrimony on the forum.

If the senior members adopted them, then it could create a standard which would raise the bar for everyone who participates here. All this fighting that's been going on lately is a big distraction and is ruining this place for the rest of us. So maybe setting things up so the dialog is focused more on real metrics could create a more professional environment which would attract more serious traders to join in.

yes your point is valid ,I think sometime soon I would like to have an explorer I'm not sure if it works with pro real time ,
but essentially I agree with Davit ,with Davit there no doubt in my mind he's very good trader ,I would never doubt him ,
the most important thing here is the ideas and accurate charts and outlooks ,great ideas ,
if someone makes xyz or not only matters to them ,

here is a 40 day candle closed this friday ,
option one is we start moving up straight away ,off this pivot ,
option 2 poss more probable we take pivot ,and have more of same
but odds of going and taking high in the next 40 days =very low

HI Bones lets see if,,if this is a long case scenario,as you said in the last chart do we start to go up straight away on the week,,we have a cross over 10/20 ema to me that is turning short,but we can retrace and go back up , or we drop to the support of the red line see support past on the left,

on the 4 hour this is where we could tell,posted last week price will meet the 10 ema but it will meet it on the cl,, so 1,do we go back in and carry on long ?? 2, bounce then off to 61730 area .

on this 1 hour 350 is the 10 ema and channel line this is where we would want to start to confirm its direction,, on this 30 min it looks to be turning bull 10/20 emas crossed 50 yellow ema is the hold back,,for me 50 yellow has to be on the bottom for safer long entries

on the 15 min cross over yellow 50 on the bottom is long ,,but on the smaller tc this can change quickly

,,thats me if we break the low we need to start looking at the short out look but for now as we are on a 38% fib and a possible bounce from there i will just look as it going long until we see what tomorrow holds

at this time monthly is dark cloud ,and 2 crows off top of range ,to try and draw uptrend lines to me at this point is futile

could be E , id say retrace till I saw the weekly confirm pivot ,then id be worried for longer term shorts,

I think it largely depends on the reason folks are here to begin with. Is it to show others how good (or bad) a trader you are? Or to share views and learn from those who are better, and perhaps help those who are not. For me it's always been the latter.

When I first started my journal it was exactly that, My Journal. A place I could specify my trades and charts for later review to identify my strengths and weaknesses as I learned to trade. I suppose to others from the outside looking in it may have "seemed" like showboating (when I won ... lol) but that was never it's purpose. Seldom if ever do I actually post the account balance as I have that right here so I see no need to.

Now I don't even post my entries when taken anymore as it's grown to be a bit more than just a journal and in truth, it's severed it's purpose as such for me. Now it's just a great place with some great folks sharing charts, views and thoughts. When I post charts either there or here it's just to share my views. If I happen to have open trades on the pair they of course show because the charts I post are from my live account and platform.

I have no interest in a TE for a couple reasons. One I will not expand on. The other is simply because my account is so small it would just needlessly open myself to the criticisms of those who trade larger ones and I've heard it all before already. Never mind that I've doubled it a few times in what I consider a pretty quick time, or that I've never blown the account (come close but not yet). That seems to not matter to most which is fine. It doesn't have to.

Most focus on total $ and not total %. That's fine and I have no problem with that for them. For me it's all about % over time. But it seems to most if you have a couple hundred and double it over a few months you're a akin to a demo trader. If you have 10k or more and double it (or even less) over the same time, your a real trader. Go figure ... LOL

I'm thinking reason pepole are here is much more diverse, really I learnt on a forum ,how else could I ?,if your clever your work out who to listen too ,
its not that important how ones measures success ,measures how many pips made , if your happy with progress ,
thats all that matters

if you mean the middle circle that to me looks like it was false ,you can see the top jus out of the tl,,but also it can tell you yes we can break the tl but we want a better price ?? for me the 10 ema on that 4 hour is part of the 15 min key,,as i said bounce there and it does not go back into you channel should confirm breakout and go short,but you could play this both ways at that time because it has double s and r at the same time long or short if you see what i mean,might be best it wait and see or the gamblers could take up position .

have a look at this month chart ,one could see if HDA and or big players look at things ,,price never completed the major fib levels ie the 50/61% from the h/l ??? what does one think of that reasoning ??? also lookk at the red line left and right ??? no double lines any body got a spin on that .
