I to don’t get it, good numbers mean a plus so up for GDB especially after this long downtrend. Something is fishy here and we suckers are scratching our heads going why. A manipulated FX or I’m I the only one confused here.

My system says never consider the news...only know when it is being released, wait for the price volume surge to clear following news, and then look for entries. Speculating on news leads to poor decisions.

I am curious? What is your win loss percentage with a news indi trade advisor? Have seen these before, but never tried it.

You're hardly alone. The pair should have moved at least back to the Weekly Pivot.
There are a lot of short accounts. I don't know if any movement is being held back while their friends get out of their shorts. But I am grasping at straws same as everyone else.

Long downtrend? We had an uptrend for 1 year, the downtrend "just" started.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Yes you did. It's times like this I really miss being able to hedge. Taking advantage of the bumps while holding longer term was such a nice advantage long ago.

It is fundamental, if a banker mentions ¨if we see improvement in inflation and these specific economic indicators it will lead to this action¨

Statements like this will light a fire under any of the mentioned releases, hence it is fundamental in nature.

To deny fundamentals play any role in the forex market is ignorance beyond belief.

you are very correct sir! Took me 3 years, and over $10k, to pound that idea into my thick skull. Machines do all the trading for the big boys...and how do you think they program them? Technicals

Just by watching those news for a year or two. You can always counter trade the pre-news spike with a 10 pip SL. Ideally 5-15 minutes before the news. If there is no clear trend so close before the news, stay out.

In this istance, look at the price action from 07.00 UK time - down - then, what appears to be a Hanging Man on the hourly chart from 8-9 and then . . BOOM!
