Huh? You're in here day in and day out calling bear ... bear ... bear with chart after chart while laughing at the longs and you haven't loaded any shorts? That seems rather odd ...

One would think with all your posts making the case for shorts, you'd have a "signal" by now?

I'm really not trying to be a pain here Tony. Just trying to understand. But that just seems to wreak of uncertainty or a lack of conviction to me. Are you still trying to convince yourself of the case for shorts? Or are you really confident enough to place some and wait for the inevitable as you see it?

he is not providing a signal service just commenting on what he think at the time..when he posted its a short..if ud have listen u might have made 500 pips..if u ask me tony sees a retrace potential hence cutting his positions..month end will likely provide him with further options

LOL ... I'm not taking anything personally Tony I assure you. I was just trying to understand how someone can be so convinced of a direction and yet, have no trades going that way. That's all.

I mean it can only go up or down. You're obviously convinced it's down. So why no shorts?

I'm wrapping my head around your posts but following is what I just didn't get. Would appreaciate your explanation.

- How do you know they are bear stops, can't it be also bull's buy stops of early buyers? Who then gets killed by move lower into new lows? I understand your point of having bull case and bear case and compare the two, just don't understand why fake move up should actually prepare the way for more move up. 3) regarding option barriers - my understanding is that whenever option barrier is present (the big ones), it's defended but also gunned for. So knowing the strike & size is just a piece of the puzzle and it's up to the bull&bear strength which way the market goes (= which options the market targets) and whether the price gets hit or not. Correct?

4) My understanding is that you gun for 1.27ext with your TP2. But you also see the hurdles along the way where it might turn back south (then this C might become just A of bigger correction), which then would make you accomodate to a new situation right? But isn't the only way to realize it's going further south when price gets back bellow C? In which case you give back all the profit and take a loss..unless you choose to play the bigger correction adding even lower. Explanation is appreciated for that's something that will help me build my trading approach/strategy. Not to copy yours, but getting an understanding of different trading styles and then choosing what suits me.

truth is Nav I had some really good sells ,which I should hold with my conviction ,its very difficult to hold even with conviction ,I want to play this down as professional as poss , if thats what we will do ,

I understand Tony. I wasn't saying you were directing them at anyone.

But you are posting and I did have a question based on those posts so I asked it, that's all.

You have posted many "breaks" to the bear side and I guess that's where my confusion came in. Since you look at the larger TF's "mainly", I thought the path was clear to you and hence, wondered why you weren't short.

Please don't take my comments or questions as sarcasm like Navin always does. I'm simply trying to understand the thinking that's all. Now I do.

I don't use channels but I know many do. Just like a TL, price can walk sideways right through them and does so quite often. Especially in August. I find TL's more useful in volatile market conditions. But that's just me.
