I'm not saying its not possible, but I'm an intraday trader...so just thinking about today and tomorrow. We will most probably go below 6560 again...after that who knows.

I need to work better on honing some set-up's & executions...
I've been popping in/out of wave-4's & wave-5's and "such",
and trying to "snip" @A-B-C corrections, and it's been like getting
your hand 'tazed on the Toaster, with these minor little annoying
"Burns". !
@This point i'll be happy w/Ten, let alone a baker's dozen...
We will see!

Well the Euro just broke...and the GU is trying....moved stop to break even on first pos...hell i'm awake now...time for coffee.

kicking myself for dumping my long scalp on the Euro, left pips on the table, but GU PA was more solid, more evidence of a turn. I wish this was mid September when there is more volume. Should be in bed but things are heating up. Red eyes tomorrow!

I once used Elliott wave to try and map my trades. The more I used it, the more I found that it clouded things and focused my attention on the wrong areas. Now I simply am aware of when PA has a number of pushes up or down, HH HL, HH etc....after 4th wave trend tends to slow. Much easier to understand. I incorporate this with a number of other factor to determine entries.

Seems like many pure Elliott wave guys spend all day debating about what wave they are on. Either way, I don't consider it anymore and it has helped my trading. But I don't use MA, fibos, or pivots either...

Appears the lack of volume gave us a rejection on the 2nd attempt at a GU break out . Counter trend during Asian session is never easy. Pending buy still in place.

And you're right... One note he mentions is "People will go off into labeling
things x, y, z and he called it the "I Don't Know" waves, when bottom line,
you're here to make money, keep it simple & leave.

LOL...what that guy says has zero bearing on any trade i take.

I questioned one of his random long entries that I read as a sell signal (which it was) and he rattled off some challenge about checking back in two weeks or something. That was 150 pips ago.. whatever, who cares. I am a shorter term trader with higher lots that is my style. He, as many people on this board do, have a longer turn outlook.

I mentioned adding to losing positions and and not using a stop as the two biggest factors that lead to account vaporization, this was described as "position trading." If people are successful using these techniques fantastic. Not my style.

HDA, I normally can find answer to your exact area, but why was the entry at 16560? Can you explain in detail please much appreciate if you can. I was waiting for 16508 myself but I cant bring myself to long it, have opted for the AUD USD as its an easier long in the short term... I see all the details people buying etc the pound but it could just as easily fall in my opinion so have left it alone currently but be good to know exactly why you picked 16560??? Much appreciated Russ

Appears Euro is attempting one more push long, as is GU. Will wait to see if it is rejected again. Then back to sleep.

What grieved me was i think it was "I'll be back" was having to help newbies w/Support
points to stay the game, so their account wasn't completely "blown",
-Like you said, 150 Pip's down. -Yike's!

I can see "Cloggie" giving a belt-whipping w/a Rubber Hose, for those kind of calls, like:
"I SEE the Order's Piling Up", "In the Industrial Account" Holdings & such.
Whatever,
I just don't like to see the youth, "Burned".
