It's very early now to give final level of take profit as it's still very low and I think we saw a long term bottom but nothing is guaranteed.
Despite news like http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-0...y-on-hold.html, but no EC reaction!
If it was another pair, I would say first take profit 1.2175-80 but since it's EC and just 100 pips from the peg level, not a problem to keep holding especially that 2016(the least) is far away
I meant by sky limit take profit is if SNB Intervene then am keeping it to run high high high, but going in normal market movement up if slowly or like in 1/2013 month then that has its own trading and levels
Trade according to current market condition, not what you think would be.

Exactly

I see nothing on the chart which points upwards. Just a lot of people hoping for a bottom.

Why not wait till it starts rising and then buy - oh wait people are hoping for a big intervention spike upwards.

Nobody waiting for anything. It will be great to see an SNB Intervention and maybe new peg but no one living in illusion of that.

There's a possible move to 1.2090-95 today, will add another long if hit that area.

I entered my longs depending on my technical view not just peg. EC must normally go back to test 1.2175-80 before going any more down if anytime.
Even if EC continue down to 1.2080s again or more after today's FOMC, I'll not be in any regret of my positions because it isn't worth closing EC Longs on 15-20 pips, less or for loss when it's just 100 pips from the peg and I believe it had formed a long term bottom.
We'll have much time to see 1.2250 least in normal movement, consider it long term positions if continues down to 1.2020s(even if it looks stupid now) at worst!!
Will add more

Agree with you, no point to take profits when we are that close to the peg. Im waiting for at least 70 pips profit. But this has potential for skyrocking several hundreds in a day. The shitty thing is that it costs swap to keep the orders.

Bad for you and many other EC Bulls getting negative swaps. My EC broker turned from 0.30 per 1 full lot to ZERO!!, like some others that had positive swaps, many even went to negative from good positive swaps.

EC next main resistance levels are 1.2130s to be hit from now till Friday then comes 1.2175-80 back to seen.
Disturbing to see EC crawling in the way up instead of real moving quickly..However FOMC outcome was promising and must lift it to test the levels mentioned above.

This pair is a pain in the ass. Dont trade it technically. Just buy cheap and wait. Patience should pay off but who knows.

My broker charges for swaps. So waiting too long will hurt. Trade something else maybe?

The most obvious clue that signals a short is: look at the top-right corner of the screenshot I posted above...

Every row in the ADX column is positive, which means there is a strong trend going on.

Every row in the DMI column is negative, which means the direction of that trend is down, or bearish.

Of course, I cannot guarantee that E/C will go down from here or the manner in which it will (might), particularly because of the fact that a lot of the stochastic readings are near oversold levels (and hence, a "bounce" should be near), but the longer you wait, the more likely it is that the bears will win this battle.

EURCHF trading below multi year low with no real support before the floor. Last time we were at these levels; EUR interest was higher and we had speculation of a higher EURCHF floor(1.25). Looks like this cross can only go down from here unless SNB steps in.

Last time when prices reach this level, there are many rumors about SNB intervention but now, not any news at all.
Look like it will go down to test the 1.20 peg soon...

do you think that the main pressure is coming from EC shorts or from strength from Swiss franc buying in general as safe haven?

safe haven.

But i think if we see some progress in the Ukraine Russia conflict we will see EC rise. But who knows. This pair is so hard to predict,
