I guess the Argentina downgrade by S&P should limit risk taking towards emerging markets...by doing so, S&P is probably helping USD appreciation

yea I agree its a deeper retrace ,for bears to maitain control ideal world small/neg candle in next 4 hour,

I agree but I still struggle to understand why they would allow USD to appreciate when tapering is ending and perhaps economy would need some extra support from somewhere else. Summer time is an ok time for appreciation but autumn is not.

Just panning out see the big arch , does not look the same as other sharp up and down we 1, see this as fake short, , 2 but my ema set up tells me short,, 3 let it retrace on the day chart then drop to the 200 6700 area ,,it a funny one at this time

we may be able to rely on gbp for bear ,keep an eye on gbp jpy ,if confirmation
or any jpy poss

Could be another bounce from 1.6900 upto 1.6943.............then probably down again to 1.6830 and 1.6821...........

I would like that...lets see, if there is enough power for it. Tomorrow is tricky, important EU news 4am, if they are good and spike eur up, cable will go up some, too...might be a good short opportunity. Or I hope I will be sitting in a safe short already, in case the number is bad.

Not a great day for me. Should have just stayed out today. No attractive entries, tried to force one, and got stung. 1 stupid trade for a loss and 1 break even. But my DIA puts worked out beautifully. .

See you tomorrow after EU news clears.

Latest trade for a BE, should have stayed 1-1 because it was counter trend.

Well that is supposed to happen June next year and not yet confirmed. No hint at all on that today. Don't think the market is pricing that. End of August in my opinion USD appreciation is over. Summer time is ok but in autumn they should need cheaper export goods.

Other than GDP# can't think of other reason and bearish JPY boosted USD
