You need to look up more Price Action before entry, TDI can cross like made but all it gives are false signal, before confirming TDI cross, look up how pa acting, Price Action was making LL, and retesting that Low but was not intended to break that low, there was a mother candle that holds PA , so in selling you might be selling in the buy zone and vise versa

In this case selling the Lower High has higher probability of a trade working out rather than selling the Retest which might bonce the trade in the wrong direction

Sorry for the delay blamshakk, I just got back today so catching up on the posts. I usually have on H1, the 10ema and 62 ema as price tends to bounce of those so I bear them in mind. On H4 I only really have the 10 ema as its good on all timeframes.

I look for a good signal on the timeframe I'm on coupled with the higher timeframe tdi moving in the same direction. Not necessarily a cross, if it has a good step up or down then I will take that into account. I also look at supply/demand areas.

I wish it was a vacation. Had to go to my mothers because she has been unwell but she's on the mend now....if its not one parent its another

As far as exit strategies go I'm not really very good at them on the longer timeframes. I promise myself I will go to the next supply/demand area or when the higher timeframe tdi starts to turn, but if I see a decent amount of pips I tend to take them

Can anyone post a working indicator so that I can attach to the chart and it will show the 'tdi cross' angle as big E laid out (12 to 2 & 4 to 6)? The 'clock' indicator already posted a few pages back in this thread doesn't work (I can't attach it to a chart). Any help appreciated! THX

or anyone can tell me how I can get 'clock' indicator to work on mt4? THX

I was thinking about the pullback candle on H1 time frame , dreadfully wants to know how to trade that, I mean what preference do you gauge the pullback to enter trades, I see that they often prints 1 hours before LO or later when LO opens , or after US market news

Lastingwell, since you trade H1 with TDI, can you share your thoughts or the rules you follow before you decide to take that pullback candle , as simple they are and after merely almost 2 years in trading, I still not sure how to make up my mind about this nice formation, phx62 even based a lot of weight about this

Final comments with regards to TDI angle:

On your chart on H1 / H4 / Day, zoom in all the way - then zoom out twice - that is the setting Big E used for determining angles.

Place analog clock next to computer

If the TDI angle matches the angle of the hour hand from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock - Long

If the TDI angle matches the angle of the hour hand from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock - Short

I have never needed an indicator for this :-)

First trade back, I had to go out so left it at 50 pip take profit didn't want to be greedy in this sort of market as I wouldn't be watching it. D1 tdi was looking like it might turn up when I took it, but it was such a lovely angle on the cross that I had to take it I was a bit late on the entry as I'd only just got up and looked at the charts but it had only moved around 9 pips it was also the 4th good attempt to break the demand area below.
