well come to think about it, actually the broker didn't bail you out...

you had a buy limit order @ 1.7138 which means buy at this price or lower

so market trades around 1.7128 and your buy order would be filled @ 1.7128....which a good broker would do

but at the same time you had an order to sell @ 1.7128 or lower...again you got filled @ 1.7128 and sold your longs @ B/E

they didn't go through all the trouble and just cancelled em for ya....that's pretty decent of them...

do you mind divulging which broker...

I thought the PPI m/m was supposed to be high impact news. It was good news for the dollar and yet both gold and cable have appreciated! The market is simply not readable these days. It is so annoying. The market is becoming one giant pick-pocket! The original Oliver's Fagan!

Sure, its Oanda. I'm sure they'll do something to tick me off in the future to make up for them being nice here. lol

thought you calling for new highs, I'd say we could go up to around 160 at full stretch, though I think a bit of sloshing around theses levels is perhaps more likely prior to Yellen, then who knows.

We are too low for new highs today...not sure what would need to happen. And there are no more GBP news days this week, so not this week, I guess.

7153 could be a good daily short scalp, if it doesn't break by too much.

took two 1-1 long trades on GU

done for now...will wait and see how price plays out, looking for a midrange HH then a pullback buy.
