So was I right or not? People kept shorting this during EU session at 1.3615-20 and I said whats the point to short if the target can be only 10-20 pips and the risk of going it up is much bigger. Or people don't mind to be in a 100 pip drawdown to get 10 pips profit after a week?

I would say time will tell. No one has to be blamed here if his/her calls have to be closed in red, but as I said:

it does all look bullish, even the hammer on the month. just be respectful of 366x/3698... 3677 is in there.. atm it seems the week will close below

For me, its clearly bullish, but I'm willing to wait it out for a week or more. Bears can't even break below 1.36 anymore and every visit below 1.36 gets rejected, so for me, its clear, bulls don't even do anything yet and they can still defend 1.36 easily.

i cant disagree.
i have a um to 3102/3992 there. these can make an ass out of any direction or analysis, its s/r and the same place a bear would start a cross. that old day candle in this chart is telling me to be cautious in either direction.. the month candle topped at a R, 3698 is no different then 3600 .. i see bullish, and i also see reasons to be cautious... that wtf candle is not closed, but soon will be.. it has to go somewhere, the time to long today was near 3689, the time to short was 3620... both can have a b.e. set
it just dont always do what it looks like it will do conventionally, something most systems dont show.

The range of this week was less than 75 pips. Days I over sleep were 4.
I'm doing the right trades.

Just think about it, 75 pips range covered a blowout on some of the peripheral europe trades, some scares of contagion and whatnot. Its amazing.

I think it will play out within 1-2 weeks, catch most people in shorts and then continue up. If the weekly uptrend chart stays un-broken to the downside, but that doesn't look like a problem for bulls.

why if we broke April's low and there is strong 1,3748/1,3806 and Q3Pivot point in that area, will skip all the macro on the way, just curious as usual, how Feb's low play here against 1.3503???

I guess it depends on whether the drop from 5/9 to 6/9 is the totality of traders' pricing in of Draghi's LTRO's, negative rate and non-standard easing attempts. Given that USD easing is at the end of it's cycle and the ECB is dissatisfied with the high price of the EUR, it's hard for me to commit to any buying of the EUR/USD in the long term. We could be in range until:
1. Something or someone trips the fear index (Portugal wasn't near enough clearly)
2. Traders/Banks start pricing in a FED rate increase next yr (or esp if concern develops that it may happen sooner)
3. US Equities find more momentum somewhere to soar further and the dollar sags further (not a EUR move per se)
4. Unknown news/economic events occur, but...

...if 5/9 is not a top than what would be the catalyst for the EUR to increase?

dont know myself. lets c what the close does. i do lean toward bulls. if the close 3606 or higher it gives me a little more confidence.. between 3600 and 3605, and i would be more skeptical.. atm 3607.. having a small drop target in the gu dont hurt 7025.

If I had to choose, I would pick 3607 or more for a close, and cable above 7120. One more hour to go, lets see...

LOOOOOOL HAHAHA yes between 3600 and 3605 would make extremely skeptical, but if its 3607 then yes I become bullish on this currency.

no its not like that. i just look for bounces to short. i took a few longs when it seemed right. we are above 3547.. these things take time to get past. no comfort for me until we close -3494 and the last bull headfake to 3589
