Hi all, just my 2.5 cents....I think big money in gbpusd is trying to make people that hold shorts to give up and go home, there is absolutely no reason for it to remain this high.... All the data coming out lately does not support these levels... Rate hike is now at least 3 months away. so what shall we do until then touch 1.78? it does not make sense, so all those holding longs should be careful be very careful

Hi yes that makes sense it sort of fells like the big money is draging the price up to get out of longs that were bought on the strength of the previous data ,this last data was crap but as yet not broken 1700 we will see if it is retracing short now i am hoping the last 4 hour move was indeed a 61% pull back on the days move down,, regards E

Hi elbert aka HDA , glad you agree, but now I think they are waiting for the boe minutes, so if you are unlike me that has stock up with shorts, I would say buy on dips until the 23rd of July. The fall will take place then.

I think there's a "chance" Asia might follow NY's lead and push it up a bit tonight. I'm really not expecting it but I wouldn't mind. My 7163 is getting lonely since I sold off it's brother at the bottom this morning.

In the short term, hopping to see 1.69 get hit soon. Medium - longer term hoping for 1.67, or lower.

From my technical perspective GU is super over extended.

290 days since a touch of the daily 200 EMA...That's crazy!

daily looks mighty bearish to me off major pivot ,I think dark cloud on weekly ,
the only thing sort of bothers me is higher lows last 3 d1 ,but lower wicks are sellers here

Even though I am short its important not develop too strong a bias.I made that error on NU/GU and paying up dearly.
You got to be flexible so you can observe data as objective as possible.
I don't see this pair hitting 1.67. 1.70 would be a possibility.USD fundamentals are pretty weak now and don't see that change much next few months.
Having said this I am open to be proven wrong.Market Makers who push price could go all bear at least 1.70

Looking at the 4hr tails and previous 2 days (Tues , Wed), looks to me like 1.71 area being defended quite strongly.

True that brother! Bias should be avoided for sure! Bias aside, I expect 1.67 area (possibly lower) to get hit within the coming months, but would not be surprised if it doesn't even come close. G/U has made a point of avoiding my expectations since mid May. I am also short, so i would love for you to be wrong too.

Personally I would like to see an attempt at 1.72 area before a nice big correction. G/U has been nuts lately so who knows...
