Omg, I have to finally say something, because I can't keep reading this. lol

So, first you were long, targetting 1.70. When price was at 1.6997, you were too stubborn and proud to close the trade and waited. The trade reversed 300 pips against you! Then in 7 weeks we finally print 1.70, so in other words, YOU HAVE MADE 3 PIPS IN 7 WEEKS! Then you short 1.7045 with a target of 1.69, price goes almost to 1.6950 and what you do? Instead of securing the trade and setting a SL above 1.70 or even closing it, you wait again. Now its 3 weeks later and you are 70 pips in red and you still stubbornly hold the trade. So let me sum up, in the last 10 weeks, you have made -67 pips and you still act like you knew what you are doing.

What you call position trading, I call stubborn newbie trading.

Just a question before you have the trial and hang him without defense, how do you know he is not adding to his long position when the pull back has occurred and now vice verse. i can tell you traders here who do just that, look at kajos i might have his name wrong i think he closed something like 13 trades all going the same way,, he posted before,,, can i ask do you only trade 1 trade position ,,,you will have to say yes,,, other wise you have just answered the question.. regards E read

The guy has a plan and trades it. I applaude him for that. Question for you Addict... If he should have closed the 3 pips short... Whats the difference between 3 pips and 10 pips or 15 pips. You start down a slippery slope when you break your rules. Besides, he also did collect swap on that trade the entire time too.

Another thing. Your trade only has value when you close it. Until then it is unrealized profit/loss. So you say he made -67 pips in 10 weeks. Not true. He literally made no profit or loss (except swap) during that time.

As long as he trades his stop loss as rigidly has he trades his take profit, and has a acceptable win/loss and risk/reward ratio, I see nothing wrong with his trading style at all.

I don't know if he is adding, since he didn't mention it. Even if he was, in these cases, it would be adding to losses, which is a quick way to hell. The only way to add, is to add to winners and move the SL. But I'm not here to fight with anyone's trading method, just had to post the above, as it was eating my inside, thats all. Now everyone ignore me, please.

Just because you have a narrow and myopic view of the markets and trading, gives you no right to attack others style of trading. Like HDA ,I too was long then but initially hopped in at 1.6901 and added more as it dropped the last i snatched around 1.6731 with a target of 1.7031. I trade with mental stoploss of a little over 400 pips and havent had a losing trade in a long long time. Some traders like to take the pips fast while some other do it slowly and consistently. If you're such a maverick why dont you post your account to your trade explorer lets see how much you've made for the last 1 year bro.

Does somebody know where is the MPC statement that was released today? IT was on the calendar, but has dissapeared. I m also holding pound short to 1.696 first profit target. I m trying to read fundamentals ahead so I think sell off is coming.
