Strange that although FF regards the Current Account as the most important result for GBP out of the four just given, it is the least important result, Revised Business Investment, that has carried the day. GBP is climbing in spite of the bad Current Account results. The overall trend is bullish and GBP has reached a new median point. It will be a long time before we see 1.65xxx again.

I have been expecting the cable to go down for some days now, but it has not happened yet. Nevertheless my bias is still bearish for the time being.

Cable has been pretending a break to the upside of 1.7037, but poor bast**d couldn't even reach it.

nobody here talks about 1.65. I'll be happy with 1.69
bottom line is US economy is worse shape then Feds expected.We did have long nasty winter followed by massive tornadoes and spring floods and California droughts.We got fged by nature basically in the process Ukraine crises which did not help USD.
In this general picture then we got idiots at RBNZ raising interest rates aggressively while dairy prices are falling....Might be good for Bankers but average NZ resident is getting screwed big time specially that majority of them have floating mortgages.
In the meantime simpletons want to make money but want lower currency.Someone there got their economics totally messed up.You can't raise IR and expect currency to go down...
Why is this related to GU.It does NU correlation to GU is strong.

that the reason,, nice pin at the top did not break 700 on the news so they need to get in some where so 61% pull back , 23 is 61 fib off the last bull candle sl is the commission 28 no risk at this time

Entered a short @1.7028 just before the news, not the best entry but that's what I can get after a late start of the day.

Still, I feel it was the right thing to do. Will exist around 1.7, weekly pivot is at 1.7 too.
