So we get fibonacci ratios 1 and 0.618, and we want to get the middle level between them. Why we do not use average? This is because all the fibo ratios come by multiplication and division.

So it goes like this

x/0.618 = 1/x -----> x^2 = 1x0.618 ----> x = square root of (1x0.618) = 0.786

Some uses 0.764 as a fibo ratio? where does it come from? I can only think of 1 - 0.236 = 0.764, by subtraction. That is not correct.

If you use 0.236 on your chart you do not use 0.764. If you really want to use it, reverse your starting point and ending point.

i have used it for years. its 50% or 1/2 between levels. or 23.6 if its pulled from the other direction.. L fib and L divi both used repeating numbers in nature. fib was the guy who brought it to s Europe. so he is credited with what was used for centuries before. in nature it takes 2 individual goats to create another. the new goat is half of each. L div did a few things with math also. he just did it in shapes and drawings. a visual form of math

do you mean leonardo da vinci by L divi? he was also a mathematician.

yes, he was a smart guy. its no doubt he understood math. many of the formulas are in a drawing. he applied math to nature and showed where the math is in nature. like the height of a man is = to the arm span etc. the point of the circle... he showed it in geometric shapes. and placed a man in it. whats dear to a man is in the center.

Do not understand

Since the VIX is on historical low levels it either shows that participants are extremely complacent or/and the market is rigged by huge transactions via options on the VIX and subsequent buying of the securities

And let's not forget that fibos even allow us to calculate the outcome of the World Cup correctly. It's the naturalistic, harmonic thing. Don't know how the Dutch fit into all this, though. Back to the drawing board.
