I have back tested with 24 hr setting and it has improved results but with increase DD. I am attaching tester report for your reference. Some time I was getting error 1 while modification of order with Two step order. With One step order ea with TP -0 to use JSL, ea is putting order price as TP. Please resolve this two errors.


I have noticed that if we make BE flexible by following then it may improve results.

USING ATR(14) - Difference of current Max and Min and round no of the same can be kept as BE pips.

For example, currently EURJPY ATR(14) Max-0.4128 Min -0.2107 so difference is 0.2021 so round no 20 pips should be BE pips automatically kept by EA if Auto BE is set in EA. Attached image for reference.

Priorities to take this ea into next higher level should be as per below

1) BE based on ATR as per above
2) Maximizing profit to be included
3) EA should double lot size once equity has been doubled. And doubled lot size should be constant till the time equity doubled again.
3) SSRR - I have been backtesting looking at RR using SSRR but it seems that it may not improve ea in terms of pips. So if not included then its okay.

The BE-stuff sounds interesting, I have never seen it before.
So as external input we should have something like "SetToBEWhenATRDiffEqual=20.0";
and an input how many pips to lock in, for example "BeProfitPips=5.0" (if the SL should set to BE+5 pips).

hm, I would NOT double the lotsize, better we implement some "Lots per risk"-feature, so if the ea is profitable the lotsize will increase steady ...

hehe, I see that my target (Ma 144/Ma200 on H1) was hit some hours ago. So I would have earned more if I would not have closed the trade yesterday. But no problem, next entry will come (and today I am not trading, later my brother and his girlfriend come around for a visit, etc.).

But I am looking forward that I can deliver some results until the markt opens on sunday ...

You might have misunderstood me on BE STUFF. Difference should be set as BE pips so that price can breath and same time it minimises losses.ext parameter should be SetToBE as ATRDIFF=TRUE. Further to above,

As you have mentioned, if difference of ATR is above 0.20 then only ea takes trade to avoid very tight range market. This may help us to reduce dd.

attached the mod.-version 1.2 of the xTDI EA (I will not post the mq4-file)
pls. note that I added some more userinputs, the lotsize-per-risk-stuff and the support/resistance for sl/tp (optional) stuff. further you can disable the tdi and/or the stoch and the limitation of maximum trades per day.

I attach the required indicators again to prevent confusion ...
NOTE that you must attach the ss_Support/Resistance-Indicator to your chart ...

I have added the be-stuff, per default it is enabled (UseAtrDiffAsBEPips = TRUE):
you can use BEAtrDiffMultiplier also, if it is = 1.0 it is disabled ...
if the difference-pips is < than MinAtrDiffPips, then MinAtrDiffPips will be used (only if AdjustToMinAtrDiffPips=TRUE)
there is also a check to see if BreakEvenPips is > than BreakEvenProfit (otherwise it would cause errors) ...

just in case (should never occur) there is no atr highest/lowest value found, it will use Ask for the high and/or bid for the low value, ...

edit: I think I have improved the advanced-BreakEven function:
it SetBreakEvenProfitAccordingly = TRUE then it takes the BE-value and subtracts % of it to get the breakevenprofit (default: SubtractPercentOfBEforBEProfit = 75.0). if that calculated profit is < than breakevenprofit (default: 7.0) the breakevenprofit-value will be used.

that should make more sense.

If there was such an error it is still there because I have not changed the ordersend-routine ...

for Atr 14(default in mt4)For example , ea look back atr 14 value of last 30candles of h4, max atr14 is 80 pips and mini 60pips. Ea should put difference of 80pips and 60 pips that is 20 pips as BE pips. So once price move 20pips in favor then ea change sl to be.If diff is not round no then ea should get value of round no.Once Be pips is set then it wikk not change till next order.I hope this will help to understand.

ok, maybe you want to re-download the ea again, I have added "AdjustToMinAtrDiffPips". If it is =FALSE it should wait until there is a proper diff ...

I have found a small bug and mod. some things, so attached version 1.3, pls. download the indicators (required!) at http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...15#post7537015

note that the ea deals with different timeframes. the stoch-settings are adjusted to reflect d1 on h4.
if you plan to use the ea on other than the H4 timeframe you may adjust the settings / timeframes ...

hm, that errors occour while setting to breakeven or moving the jumping stop, not on ordersend.

I did not get that errors (maybe I must try some times and perhaps also get them). But when I have time I will try to find the reason for them.
