Can you please help me to add the same in this ea. if that can be added successfully then risk to reward can be added based on that. Risk for all trade would be 60 pips so if there is reward of 60pips or more than only ea take trade otherwise skip the trade.

This ea is currently working based on cross only. If bounce trade as per attached can be added in the ea then it can gain more pips during Europe session. After some move in one direction price consolidates during end of US session and before open of EU session. EA should take trade after firs move only if 2nd move already happen then ea should skip that trade.I have attached picture where vertical line is showing entry at close of that candle. If bounce trade can be added then it almost mimic TMS method.

this is a first version, just to see if it works as we want this (and to see if I am on the right way, lol).
If this works we should modify it to get the latest s/r or filter by types (eg weak, turncoat, etc.).

Set UseSRCustomIndicatorForTP=TRUE, then it should set resistance as tp for buy, support as tp for sell.

As I said, only a first try to see if I am right. If yes we can modify it further (or perhaps create also a new S/R-EA, if I have fun&time) ...

IMPORTANT: The SS-Support/Resistance Indicator MUST be loaded on the chart, otherwise it will NOT work. if you have the mq4-file in your indicators- directory, delete it (or rename it) because otherwise it may not work with the latest builds ...

same for the ea, compile it with the build 509 compiler or download the .ex4 only (I have renamed it to v1.1)

Dear Fxdaytrader,

EA is getting value from next level for TP. I have got error when ea was trying to open sell order but there was not any level below it. In such cases ea should put 120 pips as TP.

It seems that SR indicator is not deleting horizontal lines of history.

I would like to play with S/R ea when you will make the same.

just a little bit of offtopic:

Ok, I had a few minutes and played around with the S/R-stuff.
I think I got it now, so I have done a simple EA to show how it could work, maybe somebody has a use of it.

The EA does NOTHING except writing a comment containing the latest support/resistance.
The EA requires that the SS-support/resistance indicator is loaded on the chart ( download it at http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...92#post7525192 )

if you change the external parameter Support or Resistance to e.g. "Turncoat Support" or "Turncoat Resistance" the ea should find the nearest s/r levels of that type. I have attached the sourcecode for it, maybe somebody has a use for it (I think I will try to build an ea from it, but do not know when I have time&fun).

in case of errors (if the ss-indicator is not loaded on the chart) the ea will display -1)

I will modify the tdi-ea later or tomorrow I think (add the checks/bufferpips for minimum distance, etc.) ...

Nice, Lets start another thread for SS_Support resistance ea. Where ea should buy from Support in uptrend (Blue stochastic above red) and sell from resistance in downtrend(Blue stochastic below red). TP next SS or RR level with other mm function like BE, JSL. Limit order can be used.

Dear Fxdaytrader,

I have come across exiting money management technique of Maximizing Profit. I would request you to please add this feature in the EA before adding support and resistance thing.

The Maximize Profit has 3 sections to set.

MTP - No of pips to move the take profit to the next level
MSL - No of pips to set the SL at trigger
Trigger - Distance in pips of the trigger area. This area is subtracted from the current take profit value
Level - number of levels that the Maximize Profit will have.

For example,
MTP- 50 pips
MSL-30 pips
Trigger- 20pips
Level -3


With above setting if our buy order is 138.00 and initial TP was 139.20(120 pips) and initial SL was 137.40 (60 pips). Once price reach to 139, that 20pips from our initial TP then it triggers this function.

Level 1 triggered and TP move to 139.70(50 pips) and SL move to 138.90(30pips from previous TP). Once maximizing profit triggers JSL function should not work. Even if we set it true.

Then if price move in favor and go to 139.50, That is 20 pips distance from TP. Then it triggers level 2

Level 2 TP =140 SL 139.40

If price go again in favor upto 139.80 then It trigger level 3.

Level3 TP =140.50 SL 139.70. Same will be followed till the time no of level mentioned in parameter.

hm, it would be possible, but I would prefer jumping or trailingstoploss ...
We'll see, now I was nearly 3 hours busy with the modification of feb10-bot (if it works fine I will attach it to the thread here at FF.com) and need a break and hope EURUSD will hit my target at ~1.3575 (ma200/ma144 on M15) today ...

thanks (just closed it, in profit, I want to go out for some drinks now and I am not sure if I will be trading tomorrow (and I do not want to keep it open over the weekend), so imho it is better to be flat now)
