That is true but like Infinitus said, it does not matter, as long as USD is reserve currency this ticking bomb will be expanding and will not see light of day in floating money supply. But there is one thing after all, trailer for this move is very shitty one becouse it spoils (reveals) the ending, which is massive inflation.

Just wondering why would you care about that macro economic stuff?
It's nice talking and it may look nice that you care about the economy but all you want is just a couple of hundred dollars per day for yourself right?

The USD is not the only Reserve Currency in the world, the Euro is also a reserve currency - so is the Swiss Franc, Sterling and even the Russian Ruble and of course Gold... on the " Excess liquidity will never see the light" That would be the Euro dream came true.

- If the money stayed on the Feds Balance sheet, they can't raise interest rates. Because if they do, they will inflate the supply of Dollars and strangle the Economy.
- If it doesn't, they can raise the interest rates but the Dollar will get hammered.

Yes, i still have the same thoughts and it's a disastrous trade ... It's going your way for now, and might be for a couple of months - so take as much as you can! ( Till the Bank of Turkey cut interest rates, then we could discussed it in further details )

On the other hand, the upcoming world cup is of course very important and should, like all world events, be covered here. After all, every little banking holiday is published on the FF frontpage, so what do you think will happen in certain countries after important games? There are studies in Germany atm about a feared productivity-loss during the next 5 weeks because the games will be shown late in local time, people being tired, taking sick days, etc...

Dear Milam, from a fundi point of view recent developments lead me to think Germany has only a 15% chance to win this thing (and a 20% chance of getting kicked out in the first round). And although defence wins championships, and this clearly favours your team, the highest chance is Brazil winning this at home. Let's see, and all in good fun.

I remember getting drunk in 1972 while I was camping in Allassio, Italy when the worldcup was between Germany and Dutchmenland. Germany won with 2 - 0 and we {Dutchmenlanders} had to pay for the rum!!!!!!!
