All departments being the modus operandi .. guapa .. coming back btw after NFP .. i mean u cant spend all your days infront of the screen ... now can you?

no i was off and on yesterday writing reports ,,sad,, same today,going to have another go gbcad sl was to close ,to bring gbusd with it 171.45 gbj short only a small trade short , gold long and thats me set up now for the next hour or so,, have a good day, Billy out..lol

The cable seems trading dormant ahead of UK Construction PMI. However, the H1 chart indicates that the pair is following ascending trend line support. If the data misses its optimistic forecast, 1.6735 can become strong level to watch before it plunges to 1.6715 and 1.6700. Should the data matches its expectations, there are multiple resistances near 1.6750 and 1.6760, breaking which the pair can head towards 1.6780 level (as mentioned by horizontal line).

Agreed...but. In a broader evaluation, what is the median price of property being made available; who are the purchasers; how much debt is being agreed to; and where in the UK are these purchases being made?

The questions could go on, but for most in the UK, purchasing power is falling, new home approvals are falling, and the government's buy-to-let etcetera schemes are coming under attack not just from residents within the UK, but now also Europe.

Looks like a bottom has been formed yesterday already. I'm not shorting GBPUSD again this week, unlesswe get close to 1.70 at the end of busy hour. My ideal plan sees the pair 100+- pips above 1.7045, then will be a great time to short and even keep adding to shorts until 1.73, if it comes.

Another pullback to the base of the channel I previously drawed, which coincides with previous support @1.6780, now turned resistance.
1.6760 is resistance now, let's see if it holds the price or not.
To me this movement from 1.669 totally looks as corrective waves.

I would analyse the volume like this (for those interested):

  1. Volume increases, but price clearly rejects resistance @1.678. This means a price reversal
  2. Volume increases, and price clearly rejects support @1.6728. Price reversal again.
  3. Volume increases and price clearly rejects resistance @1.678 again. This could mean we are going to test 1.6728 again

No one ever said the real economy and the financial instruments within them were in harmony,

Its no different here only our last PMI was 44.3 from 47.4 our local economy has stalled, the talking heads are making promises they cannot keep, the unions are starving their members the currency is as volatile as ever and inflation is imported as a result.

So from inside an EM trust me the UK looks like the better problem to have...
