no not at mo im looking for sim continuation ,eur gbp has been consolidating down ,on pivot and tl ,
so im watching that ,also gbp cad could be a bearish pattern,its not good ,
high risk

no update today, busy travelling.

GBP USD - next up is 6640, W1 close is BEARISH - bears control GU for now. D1 chart below. C is 50% of A-B and also 6640 is Month Pivot in May.

I covered my longs at the right time, and now I can only recommend short selling, until we hit decent support, which is revised to 6620-6660 area.

Also NU short position panning out nicely, will look into acceleration of down move next week.

EU as previously expected, was short sold as followthrough on Friday, and could point to a mid-term turn, bears gaining traction.
EU review - not for EU trading - but hint direction on USDX/NU/GU.

weekly USD posting a strong reversal @ key support level. This might be a start of new USD rally.

Next week forecast: EU/NU/GU/AU/Gold loose more ground against USDX.

But ruffryders, according to today's COT report, EUR is net long 33K vs long 26K prior, which shows how the smart money has built up long positions just before Draghi speech.

Don't you think that the longs in EUR can affect the POUND?

COT data currently neutral on EU.

Positioning suggests, that retailers took profits on recent EU slide, and some are buying into EU weakness, which implies (contrarian) that EU will proceed lower yet.

EU is most prone to weakness, should USDX rally pick up pace, based on W1 chart of USD we are at major support + strong W1 close on dollar. Look for more weakness on weaker currencies (EU/NU/GU/AU in order of weakness). NU - Weeler threatened to intervene to push NU back into decent trading range.

Ruffryders, do you think that it is going to be any retracement up in GBPUSD? I mean during monday, or do you think it is gonna plummet down without retracing up a little bit, like up to 1.69 or something?
