{quote} Exactly. I try to keep all of it from Monthly to 15M in view. "IF" I had the account size and thus the SL room, clearly I'd still be short from the 6983 I took before as it's such an obvious SR level. We all have to work with what we have.

Sorry bro, I missed addressing this point. I can understand your view here. For me, one has to take their phycology into account as well as protecting the trading account.

When I took that 6983 short, I was pretty sure we'd see this kind of retrace down to my main buying areas. However, after taking it, price then dribbled around going basically nowhere for over 14 hours. Being that I see this as a bull trend and thus, I was "counter trend" trading short, and also the need to protect my tiny account, I made the choice to get out with a few pips profit.

As I can't place many positions at once even at .01, I turned my attention to other pairs while GU remained stuck and did ok on them. Do I wish I had kept that short now? Obviously but hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it...lol

To your point, if I had a lager account, and more room for a stop loss risking the same %, I would not have been "scared" out of that position. Right or wrong, that's "my" phycology and I have to deal with it.

Good Morning Forex Factory Members and Guests

I am dead dead tired,

I am getting too old to stay up late like I did.

Traders.

As the market moves it ways UP and it waves DOWN for those of you that remember the RED AB swing last night

GBP/USD

1.68655 .382 Fib of the most recent RED AB swing
1.68278 .50 Fib of the most recent RED AB swing
1.67859 .618 Fib of the most recent RED AB swing

We have pulled back to the .382 just shy of the .50

GBP/USD my Take Profit Remains The Same 1.7000

GBP/CAD my Take Profit remains the same 1.9000

Lets See What Happens,

TRADE THE FACTS

I'm going to teach you a little trick when trading the GBP/USD if you want to counter trend trade.

Everytime the GBP/USD hits it D extension ONLY on the Daily 98% of the time it ALWAYS returns to the .0382

98% of the TIME

And, just an interesting note on this. All 4 fib setups align at that 50% (within a few pips) of 6820. Wonder why that price was in my head as good support and a potential buy area for the past couple weeks? It's good to see I'm still seeing the big picture. Now if I can only trade it well...lol

Yeah... lol What's the old saying? It takes money to make money? And it takes "real" money to make "real" money.

Non the less, I'm glad the bigger picture I see is still "mostly" correct. Helps with the confidence a bit.

STRONG SELL OFF RUFF MUST OF SEEN IT IN HIS TAROT CARDS,,WELL DONE RUFF... I HOPE YOU ALL TOOK INTO ACCOUNT THE EMA TRAINING CLASS LOL ,, STILL GOT TIME TO DROP A LITTLE MORE BUT MIND IT IS CABLE 200 PIP DROP NOT UNCOMMON. ON THE DAY NOW IF PRICE BREAKS THE 20 EMA ITS DOWN TO 50 EMA NOT STANDING AT 6755 THAT 159 PIP SELL OF THIS WEEK I BELIEVE, SO WE MIGHT SEE A RETRACE UP FROM THE 20 EMA THIS IS WHAT INSTITUTIONS USE I BELIEVE,, TO 6720 ISH,, 6815 IS THE NEXT TARGET IF IT CARRIES ON THAT WILL AMOUNT TO 200 PIPS IN A WEEK IF ,IT HAPPENS
