Dollar bulls can just take todays step as being closer to the overall fundmental picture you need for a long term dollar rally.


the short term flows are not in our favor, but those flows are not permanent. This could play into our hands on the Euro side next week though, Draghi must be pissed.

dollar index seems go lower. not short eu from this level. there is 2 fibo levels come from longer term swings(79.25-78.87) and last swing's target 79.04

3943 or 1.4000 is good place to short i think. we will see

There's always something going on in the world that people will rumour, speculate and discuss to death. If not Ukraine then it's Greece/Italy or it's etc.etc. Try to just track the market movements, where the order flows are, in what direction .. ignore the funnymentals for the most part, you only ever get to know about part of the story you cannot make informed choices based on it.

Just look at all the people babbling "The euro is over-valued!" for however many months now.

The chart shows you what people think, the psychology of the herd, how smarter money has screwed people, and the places where order flows in from bigger players and what direction it took the market. That is all you ever need to make money trading.

There are up moves and down moves you can capitalise on but trying to figure it out "The euro is too high damnit draghi do something?!" will just drive you bonkers.

it is also possible they move money out of equities into bonds, preparing for the drop of equity market. European funds will also move money back to euro, but nobody is going to move money into pound and aussie and other currencies.

This the timeline of events I have:
Copper started the move => Gold followed => EURUSD (Dollar) followed almost the same time as gold => Bonds => rates

All the moves correlate with a growth accelarating view, with USD dollar being used as a funding currency.

check around the time 2007-11, when the equity market began to tank, only euro went up for 4 more months, all others dropped.

I was sleeping, thought the Dollar has the day - the number was a big surprise ( Even the more optimistic was Morgan Stanley 255k). But the plan was as it was, my second- pending long at 1.379 was waiting!

So, i share the disappointment
