Its the weekend. Its a WONDERFUL time to analyze the charts !!

If you want to become a good trader...you must take responsibility and put in at least 5 hours during the weekend by analyzing why your trade went wrong, what you should do next time to not make the same mistake, etc etc.

A huge majority of trading consists of eye coordination, patience, and understanding your mistakes.

Tiger... Tiger!! This is TMS 5 hours? Reminds of a post a month or so back telling us we could not trade TMS successfully outside 10,000 hours experience!

But I do agree with you. We must post analyses the trades we took in the heat of battle. Most part-time trader make the mistake of not making a journal of trades taken, opportunities lost etc and the reasons

Checking out the charts this week for the 4hr & Daily it look choppy. I'm glad I'm still on vacation. The holidays seem to be making the market lame.

Oh yeah. Trading TMS during the running markets has to be near 10,000 hours.

Actually, I remember reading that post and I read it as though it takes 10,000 hours to become proficient in trading (or anything for that matter; for which I agree); Not TMS specifically.

Knowledge and understanding is different than execution.
The former is that of study, intellectualizing and conceptualizing the arena.
The latter is acting upon a method of strategy without thinking, to win more often than lose in the arena.

Posting charts, whether, before, during or after trades should be welcome and encouraged so members can get to 'see' what others are, or are not, seeing.
I suggest that clean charts with just the simple TMS profile be posted or; along side (or in the same post) as the traders 'comfort zone' profile with TL's, S&R zones, Fibs, other indy's, macd's, candle formations etc, etc for an explanation of what is being seen.
That way we can learn both execution of TMS and knowledge and understanding of the arena.

My next comment is not to offend anyone, but...
We have recently lost some extremely experienced and gifted forex traders from this thread who freely gave of their knowledge, understanding and execution (regardless of personality), leaving the talent pool on this thread who consistently post rather thin. I miss them.

So, let's 'circle the wagons,' help each other, keep focused on TMS and collectively we can succeed.

Very true-- but seems over the course of this thread after Big E passed away ( who is the most gifted and his posts still stand above all) the then extremely talented traders left as the next crop of "more talented" posters took over and so it goes, but in the meantime the thread goes further and further from the ORIGINAL. Just look at some of the charts and comments posted this week. Folks who want to trade pure TMS get frustrated by it and leave realising FF is not for them and form groups of like minded people.

Without the person who posted POST 1 at the helm this thread is always going meander all over the place no matter how well intentioned we are.

EUR/USD is at the moment about to make a mild BEAR move down...

As you can see on the 4H chart.... it is forming a triangle formation.

The breakout will be a BULL breakout BTW.

First Picture is the 4H Chart. The support will be your TP area.

I appreciate the analysis of EU, but, this is a thread to discuss TMS specifically, not a currency pair in general. Please concentrate on discussion of TMS in this thread when discussing currency pairs and refer to your TMS charting specifically.

Other generalized technical analysis can be discussed on pair specific threads. (which, I noticed you did in the EU thread with the same info).
