Funny as was thinking of doing opposite.

Seriously though will watch GBP pairs prior to high impact news at 9.30 am, then perhaps call it a week. Seems to be a distinct lack of liquidity.

WEEK 1 DAY 5

eurusd +15
usdchf +15

+30 pips for the week . Not so bad according to time spend 15 minutes per day.

See you next week .

Good trading to all.

{quote} Nice trades fxfox. Took same trade on E/Y but got stopped out for a loss. Instead of E/A I took G/A. still running with some left {image}

That was a nice straight move on GBP/AUD - you were in - not as choppy as on EURAUD. I should have an additional eye on it, didn't follow the GBP/AUD the last weeks.
But why did you enter a little late? I've marked the entry on your chart where I normally would have entered.

{quote} Nice trades FxFox , I took the same exact trade for buying the EJ and got stopped out at BE , so I thought this will turn messy and just watched the markets. I wanted to take the EA buy trade but when I saw yesterday move I thought that the price is too high to buy, and again the market always proves that there is no too high or low price... Cheers

Thats the same for me. Sometimes I hesitate too long on not 100% clear TDI/PA or see that the market made a move before I could have been in front the screen and could follow. So than you have the decision to enter late or wait for anoher move. If one decide not to enter and you see the move making a nice development you're frustrated not beeing in and sometimes you get no other chance on that day on that pair.
Although in that case I often decide not to enter and protect my capital. Another possibility could be to enter with a smaller position to reduce the risk.

Another difficult decision which costs quite an effort to do it is to enter to the other side if a move turnes like yesterday afternoon on NY session start on EURJPY. My entering yesterday was based on the choppy conditions before combined with the two strong pullbacks from the London session high.

From the navigation window (ctrl+n) I dragged TDI on the chart, that created a new indicator window underneath, then I dragged and dropped Stochastic Slope on that TDI window. If you did the same and it didn't work than I'm not sure what's up

No trades for me today. Everything seems to be lacking momentum.

This week: GU +4.3, GCAD +0.7, ECAD +41.1, GN +7.1
All done with a clean TMS chart + PA. Waiting for next week to let go, trust myself and stop setting those weird small trailing S/L stopping me after an hour of the trade

About +40 pips on GBPUSD news trade this morning. I'm actually short EURUSD as I think its a fake move to break stops above Tokyo channel and Week Mid Hi, but may be wrong. Tight stop above a supply zone so will see how it goes, or just get stopped out.

The reason I did not take the trade as pointed out by you was I was still in bed. I am a late riser, so no trades earlier than 9am. It was a h4 trade at 10 am

Entries and exits... We Enter a trade when green crosses red on the TDI at the beginning of that candle... If it's candle 3 or more don't enter... find another trade set up. The only exception is if green bounces off red and continues... it's ok to re-enter on the bounce... Exit your trade when the green TDI line goes flat, starts to hook over or makes a check mark reversal. If you add other things it will influence your decisions... usually to your detrament. Don't try to complicate it thinking it can't be this easy. Important to study TDI entries...

Safrash - I believe it means that it is best to enter on the second candle, not the third candle. Good trading

safrash,

unfortunately eelfranz passed away about 2 years ago.

You should read all his posts - look at the summaries "Big E" in the attachment of the thread (see paperclip above).

Because he found out that average moves consists of 3 to 8 average price bars (APB) with the same color he suggests not to enter on the later candles.
He meant entering on 1st or 2nd candle after a color change of the APB is good. If the TDI cross come on candle 3 or later, do not take the trade.
