i doubt it. china gold demand is down. if you go back to the beginning of the U.N. the best i can see, china/russia have never voted against each other. the resolution against russia last time was vetoed by russia. for the first time ever in history, china did not vote. for or against, that was a big deal. china is between a rock and a hard place with the need to trade

I don't see any difference between Russia and US. Moreover US was more violent than Russia.

But Russia took Ukrainian land that US never did but US wisely sucked most important natural resources.

China also had a close connection with the former Ukraine government (they helped some China military equipment development). Unless the current government voids all the ongoing projects, China probably wont vote against Ukraine. So China keeps neutral.

China uses sparely it's veto power (less than 10 times, I don't have the exact number in the whole history on UN), and only when it's own interest is at stake. In other cases it usually go neutral (abstention).

with customers in the u.s. and europe china is hands off.. and if the customers do sanctions against russian raw materials. then the customers will not buy products made from them and it may cause problems for china. neutral is better for them, even if they want oil/etc. plus they are already in a financial crises

that was my point in the original post. when it concerned one of the 2. they voted in tandem. not against each other or a non vote.
