to me this gbp move means either someone already has the leaked FOMC minutes or big players are forming a top to smack it from there for tomorrow. Tomorrow is BoE and carney has to open is mouth now abt the GBP rate.
This move was due to GDP leaked earlier yesterday (when everybody else was expecting a 0.8) which was probably leaked at the time the industrial & manufacturing (what?) numbers came out. It is also a move to protect G from falling against JPY & CAD. As soon as they consolidate/stop the free fall, then G will go meet its maker at about 1.64 and G/J will sink below 170.

entering daily/weekly possible resistance area after re-test of broken falling trend line on the dip from yesterday's high to today's low and a move back up to today's high - which is 1st obstacle now for the bulls. U.s Fed on way...any surprises there now ?

GU is toxic this year. 10 mounts 4810-6820 is in f. uptrend. Thats for M.Carney he did what he wanted. You could blame this man cause his idea is strong pound and not only market maker game in this. If central bank would want it can push donw its currency range lower but what i see only -300 f pips from the top? whats that? is it move? this year started at 6600 and 6820 is only 220 pips up.
cheap down cheap up no real move like those years before where pound in first 3 mounts of the year almost always moved by 800-1200 points.

FX got boring these days. Week by week its very low volatility. There are days like yesterday but again its boring cause its hard to make from it a lot like never before.

What sayeth thee? More rate hike statements for another quick drop in Cable? Or is that already priced in? Price action before this stuff is always interesting to watch.

come on now all are shorting do you really think market maker will give us free easy money? do you?
you better dont cause i think its not over. They are hunting as and many put SL at 6780-6800. Those are is under attack soon !!

Come on its getting boring. I am waiting 3 mounts for major correction but its not coming i got no more time to wait. Thats drives me out of FX cause i didnt make money here. Only shorting taking some profits then taking the same loses and then again waiting on shorts. To buy f. pound i psyhologically cant not cause who buys on highs? Ok maybe its low if we will shoot to 7180 but ohhhhh ! then i dont know nothing about FX.

only 2 shorts from 6750
1 from 67
1 from 6670
total 4. Previous shorts were closed in profit. My record since Jan shorting GU is 20% gain of equity.
