I understand and thank you for explaining why you are a Cable Bear and not a Cable Bull. I did not listen to her speech. I have shared with you that my trading only developed, years ago, when I stopped listening to news, analysts, etc etc and to just focus on Price Action and Levels.

I admire your spirit to share openly and honestly what you are seeing and why you see, what you see. Our display as to how traders should communicate in this thread should continue to reinforce how we can share our ideas without losing respect for each other.

lol that beyond me, for now i am trying to keep it simple.. story ,, years ago i was playing golf quite well , my playing partners were off 2, 11, and 12, they were teaching me different ways to hit the ball,? i had that many opinions, it got to a stage were i could not even hit the ball ?? lol, so now i try and not to look at to many trading indis or strategies , lol you look like you have been well informed , respectfully E

I live in that "Tiny" island nation... do you know it takes 2 days to drive from one end to the other? Anyway I agree with you the kiwi dollar is too strong. Personally, I would like to see it drop a long, long way because I have a lot of debt in NZD and if it tanks then my debt is of less value, globally speaking

Also worth mentioning regarding exports... The company I work for manufactures electronics goods for export and most of the materials we use are purchased with USD anyway so the exchange rate exposure of our business is somewhat naturally hedged by that.

Only a tiny bit offended You are quite right though, as far as global economics goes we are barely a blip on the radar. It actually surprises me how prominent and frequently discussed the kiwi dollar is, considering the little impact it has on other currencies.

As for local feedback, the majority don't seem to care much. From my observation most people outside of politics and banking just get on with their day to day lives without giving it much thought. I expect there will be a bit of a hoo ha if it cracks 1.000 or goes way down to 0.6 or something. I don't really follow economics so my input here is limited. I have a purely mathematical approach to trading. I gave up trying to understand macroeconomics a long time ago.

Anyway the sun is shining and it's 9am Saturday here, so I'm off to make the most of a beautiful day.

Well, well, well, here we are again, at that yellow horizontal line that represents the highs of the past few years.

It seems that no matter how bad the news from the UK bank account – yesterday’s numbers were quite shocking – Sterling is to again flirt with the 1.66 region. One gets the impression that not much will shift until after the European elections, and when it will be better known how anti-European the individual nations will have become… the local elections here in France have seen a marked increase in far-right sentiment.

I’m of the opinion that PA will be contained around the 1.66 region for the next few weeks, and so will not be looking for any trends that are longer than a week. I favour oscillation between the 61.8 to 74.6 FE levels.
