{quote} The X icon means cross or simply put the change of color of the moving average "blue and red candles" you can use any entry you like it's up to you , the stars are for the strength of the pairs traded red means down trend and green uptrend. HERE is Seller's YT channel where you can find all the videos.

thanks for the response but, its still not clear and the youtube channel doesn't help much.

say i have entry 2 and 3 enabled..

entry 2= has x, ixo1 green, ixo2 green
entry 3= has green, ixo1 green, ixo2 x

as i understand (and im not confidant?) a new buy trade is taken IF:

HAS crossed AND ixo1 is green AND ixo2 green on the last candle (maybe current?)
OR (could be AND?)
HAS green AND ixo1 is green AND ixo2 crossed on the last candle (maybe current?)

please correct me if not correct.

i get there needs to be a X somewhere else there would be a new every candle while indis agreed (unless restrained)
but what the logic for entry 2 if the ixo's dont agree at the HAs x? how many bars does the ea recheck?
does the ea ONLY take the trade on the yellow line (assuming the ixo1 was green) or will the blue line be the enrty as the indis all agree?
Attached Image

-----------------------------------------------------

as for basket how is this rated?:
i get the more *'s the stronger the trend move up or down
so hypothetically to make a perfect buy basket for "USD7" we want:?
AUDUSD*****
NZDUSD*****
USDCAD*****
GBPUSD*****
USDCHF*****
USDJPY*****
EURUSD*****

and this would give: Basket ***** ?

sorry for the novel, im excited about taking this further but are currently hitting the wall with the legend.

HI Jimnz

I think you got it, the EA would take the trade on the yellow line(if the ixo2 was green) on the close of the bar that had the cross"Has change of color "and it would not take another trade after that ,on the blue line the EA would not take the trade coz no x happened there. I hope Seller would elaborate more on that, and yes you configured the perfect basket.

Seller, please take a look at this bug. On single pairs they are not that rare.

The other question i have is how pips are calculated by EA for single pairs? I find that pips i see counting on chart when i use crossover tool are NOT the same pips EA uses to calculate when to exit the trade.
MQL5 Market products 10 times cheaper? Yes, we can help. Send us a PM

hey thnx for the reply.
its near mid night here but i need to know b4 bed..

ok, so then the only thing i dont get is..
wouldnt the best logic be to take the trade at the blue line as this is when all indis agree?
i guess this can be user defined by entry 0= direction, direction, direction
AND
set "take only one trade"
Then reset after the trade is complete?

or is this what entry 2&3 dictate? assuming ixo2 is the faster moving indy.
or using entry 2,3&4 will give the trade on the blue line
sorry - i may just need some screen time to figure it out
i may be getting picky or just missing something?

-----
also as an update suggestion:
how about a user defined "Basket score" filter
eg: if Basket score = 3, no trades are taken unless basket *'s are 3 or more

i hate new thread members coming in and firing demands on the thankless coder but it just sprung to mind.
Comme ci, comme ça

thanx

It can't take a trade just in the blue line because the indis can repaint (recalculate) in the current candle, so you have to wait the candle be closed to confirm all the indis and take that trade.

I see you are very excited about the EA, we all are, it 's a great tool, thanks to Seller, and i noticed also that you got questions and answers at the same time LOL
yes entry 0 is user defined you can custom your entry the way you want.
We all are still trying to find the best settings for the EA, of course it depends on every trader what he likes how he trades
trial and error is the best way to get to know the tool, i am sure Seller would welcome any new suggestion as long as it about the development of the EA and for that we are all very thankful and appreciative .
Thanks Seller
Bonne nuit Jim,

I've already seen that video and there's a problem in my chart. Look carefully: sell correlation basket has two pairs with 1.00.

Ab4x,
Very nice! Yeh, I saw that. The NZDCAD was ranging at the very top and I rolled the dice hoping it would go down with the rest. I should have took it out, next time. Good trade for you.

What version is this, version 9 works the best.

Also, don't set correlation in the settings at 1 as you will only get one pair in the correlation basket, use .8 or less.

If you can make it to the next GoToMeeting next Sunday evening (CST), can you ask all the questions you want and get the answers.

Good Luck

HI mate,

The has exit moves with the HAS, always in that distance what you did set in the settings. So if the has is blue and moves up, the exit line moves up too, always X pips below and if its red, always X pips above last candle.

Regards
Markus
