Hi,

For all of you that noticed the Ea sometimes enters a trade while the ixo is the opposite color try to attach the old version of ixo to your charts and you will see that the problem is with the indicator and not the EA, the EA is taking the trades according to the settings of IXO, the new version oxo 610v2et is not working well...
see attached image, both versions of ixo have the same settings (50) also the Ea have both ixo 1 and 2 set to 50, so i believe the problem is with the indi ...

The first screen shot was not taken by the robot at the time of the trade alert, MS paint does not add candles to a chart after the trade has been placed, the chart should stop at the yellow dotted line if taken by the robot at the time of the trade, the yellow dotted line should be the last thing on the chart, not more candles.

Screen shots taken later after the trade has been opened are useless as indicators can repaint and are not what the robot saw at the exact time of the trade that is why the robot can take a screen shot at the exact same time as when the trade was placed so I can see exactly what it saw, after the fact is useless to me. Also with the candles so scrunched together it is hard to see where any alert would have happened.

This robot was designed for basket trading and not trading of single pairs, there are many fine robots out there that will do that, you should probably try one of them.

Hey, nice find.

Can you tell me, which version of XO are you using as an old one?

Also, why would EA take signals from an old version of XO, while the one installed in EA logic is ver.610?

Strange, I don't see any difference, both at 50.

Seller, you sound like i offended you in some way. If that is the case, im sorry, i didn't mean to.

Your robot is absolutely beautiful piece of work and i doubt there are many out there like yours. That's why i care and that's why i spend my time trying other uses to it.

As i have said previously, the reason behind me using it on single pairs (as well as baskets, with about 40 instruments spread out in 3 terminals) is the variety single pairs bring to chart patterns. It's all about chart patterns, about the moves an instrument makes, isn't it? If there is a successfull idea, which will work on at least 3/4 of single pairs, the chances are very high it will work on baskets. Which are designed only to make chart pattern smoother.

I will try to attend the next meeting and share some of my findings. I'm not your typical "help me to create offline chart, i cant watch the video" whiner.I will not post a help request before i double check everything which might be wrong on my side. I am trying to contribute, as it's the main goal of the thread, right?

For help with problems here are the rules:

The purpose of this forum is to learn basket trading on M15 or higher, not scalping of single pairs, there are many fine forums out there already for that, the Cobra THV system works great for that and I along with others have posted many EAs and indicators at that forum.

1) The robot has the built in capability to take a screen shot at the exact time the trade was placed, this is what I need to see, screen shots after the fact are useless, and a screen shot where the candles can be seen individually, not all jammed together.

2) I also need to see your set file to verify what your settings are.

3) When things don't seem to be working as expected, reinstall the platform.

Understood. Can you please answer the question about pips calculation? It's not a bug, i just can't find a good enough explanation for it.

The dollar TP and SL work like a charm for single pairs. I just need to deal with pips.

I guess the same case will be with JPY pairs, what about a GBPNZD (1.XXXXX) or CADCHF (0.XXXXX) ? Will the pips with multiplier = 1 be like 1.XXX X=pip X for GBPNZD and 0.XXX X=pip X

You have a 5 digit broker u can forget de last digit your profit was 17.3 pips not 173 pips The EA uses real pips you have it on 150 pips if you have set it to 15.0 take profit was hit. I hope you get it.

Ye, i do get it. Is it the same for any pair? Let's say a JPY pair of 103.XXX, a GBPNZD of 1.XXXXX and a CADCHF of 0.XXXXX ?

I started trading with 5 (or 6 if you count all the digits) broker, so pip count is kinda confusing when some people use old pips and some use new ones.

Hi Roger, that makes sense to use the TP and SL as the support and resistance historically.

Oh, so that applies for the HAS price action touch I believe. I was wrong to ask that it was the HAS X trailing.

No problem,
The only problem I had using the HAS exit was I was not watching it and it would go into a pullback on its way back to the HAS to exit. I found that by managing my TP's and mostly the SL's manually I would capture more pips. I hope that makes sense. But what ever works for your trading style. Thanks mate!

Here's a little tip for you guys trading baskets with seller's EA :


Use a 1h or 4h TF for trading, you'll notice a lot less noise and have a better chance of being profitable over time.

I second the motion! first I started with 15min, but found the higher TF more accurate, peaceful, and less time consuming... cheers! ....Easier to find correct settings per basket too and the entry types to use...
