Here's a little tip for you guys trading baskets with seller's EA : Use a 1h or 4h TF for trading, you'll notice a lot less noise and have a better chance of being profitable over time. Enjoy that one, and Happy Pipping to all
Ignored
Higher timefrates might be more peaceful, but if you want a lot of forward testing, you have to got with lower ones. Higher timeframes get you too little entrances, aspecially if you are trading 1 or 2 baskets.

Im running 17 single pairs at m30 and 6 baskets at m15, and im lucky to have 2-3 entrances a day, combined.

Also running LME metals (zinc, copper, alu, nickel, lead) on 5-15m. and i should tell you, those move so smooth that not making money on them is a sin. I'm lucky my broker has those CFDs.

Im in total agreement for the use of the higher TF, im using the Dailys and im having very good results, also the 4hr is very good as well.
I find that the entries are very good, it is always the exits that cause problems.

After a few weeks with 15M time frame, I now agree that higher time frame will be better in getting more out of this EA, lower time frame can get you in much earlier into trades, but the problem I found is that you can also loose alot fair quickly due to reversals which is usually within few candles unless you are in a very good trend that moves up rapidly before retracements. I am going to the 1hr time frame definately from next week and then maybe the 4hr time frame. LESS IS MORE......
Look to the LEFT of your CHART.....

check to make sure your offline charts are updating correctly, as prevoiusly been discussed in the meetings I have attended so far, some people do experience chart freeze which means that your indicators would not have been correct until the updates happened. One simple way to check if your chart is frozen is to look at the price on your offline chart. If this does not move up or down then your chart is definately frozen. you will need to go to open your basket create indi and then click ok, this should force the chart to update. Alternatively save chart template, close chart and reopen it. it should have the updated version and then apply your chart template to get your chart set up as before it was closed. Hope this helps

If you look closely at the pictures you will notice that those pictures are not made on a basket chart. It's a single pair EURCAD timefrafe H1. So the question why XO repainted?

I've made some test on single pair timeframe M1 and i'm sure that XO repainted. Can someone put the indicator in a single pair chart timefreame M1 with box size = 1; and after a while save picture after refresh and before refresh.

I'm in a long C5 since 250 pips, based on H4 chart and want your opinions. Stay in over the weekend, its a riskless trade, or take out the profit and wait for a new entry .... hrm.
No demo, real money. So its not a game, its a sony. TSL is 70 pips behind but that do not protect against gaps.

Any useful reasons to stay in or get out? H4 entrys are not so many to find...

Has been a trailing stop, around 70 pips behind. But I'm not willing to give 70 of 250 pips away. And for some gaps it could be even more, cause we do not have stoploss in the brokers system.
Right now, the exit has been ok. No price action anymore and I expect a reversal after this move today. We'll see.

well that's just it. you make more money over time, not within the 3 dozen trades you make in a day. if you take it slow and wait for a position, you will have longer lasting, more profitable trades.

yes, if you like scalping you should be on a short time frame, but profits come and go very fast. if you are wrong 7 times out of 10, your screwed lol. i trade the 4h TF's now with seller's EA because it's more stable and profitable over time.

I have a cent account, but I only count the pips, and banking pips over a long period, the cents build up very fast, but I reintegrate getting into a winning trade is quite easy using the BT, it is the targets and when to exit the trade is a problem.
