Sonicers,

Just like EA, this has potential. The MMs have just made a retrace. You can see on the DAY chart that they whisked the price above the upper half number to reload shorts. This appears to be in the bear "Run for Profit" phase now. If so (continue with your PVSRA), then retraces upwards represent shorting opportunities.

Remember, PVSRA is an analysis, not a trade entry method. While Scouts have their place, do not forget to remain focused on appropriate Classic setups when the price rolls back down from the tops of such retraces.

You can see on the M15 chart for today, just what I mean. A perfect setup came for a Classic short trade, following two whisks of the price above the 1/2 Level on notable volume (PVSRA). And this is the way to use PVSRA with the Sonic R. System of trading Classics.

The Sonic R. System with PVSRA

We Sonicers are blessed to have been given the Sonic R. System by Master Sonicdeejay. And we are further blessed to have PVSRA, the product of a lot of experimental trading, with both incredible and horrible results over the past year, that was accomplished by a lot of great Sonicers here. PVSRA would not be the superlative analysis method it is without their great contribution to its development.

There is a saying that it is not where price has been, but where it is going that matters. Well, where price has been does matter. And that is part of PVSRA.

But not 4 years back! That is asinine. Anybody thinking like that has no idea how the markets really work.

Do you guys think we can long soon at GBP/USD...
...explained in ss. I am very new with this system began this week and I am very unsure.

The TP shown is tentative, meaning if it is reached today, fine. Trade will be closed and I will look for a later opportunity to open a new short trade. However, if the TP is not reached today, I will reset it lower, perhaps another 100 pips lower, for Friday. RWL is about 200 pips lower, so that too is my possible next TP.

Where is PA, Position Building or Run for Profits?

Sign of strength? Maybe. But if so, for what purpose? Have you considered the big picture?

For example, look at H4. Could the MMs be bears, and now into their "Run for Profits" phase, using the tops of retraces upwards to accumulate short orders? And, would that not mean that any strength on the bottoms is just the MMs stopping the drop so they can move price back up, sucking in long traders to get the liquidity the MMs need in order to add more shorts?

We cannot know how price will move next, but that whopper drop in price on the H4 could well be the MMs transitioning from the bear "Position Building" phase to the bear "Run for Profits" phase. If it is, then we need to be looking for the tops of retraces for possible shorting opportunities, and best when they are Classic short setups.

And, please, in all of your future posts, show the entire chart! That is a "must" for the best conveyance of the information Sonicers have come to expect here. Okay?

I have been silently following/learning/implementing the sonic R system for a little while now and I have to say it is a great system. I would add that pvsr-analysis is a must for any trader willing to be in this (rigged) market.

I am finding myself pulling the trigger and closing my profitable trades too soon.

Looking into Loeil's EU great trade I can see myself exiting too early (see pic below) at the first sign of strong demand. So, what made you so confident it would go lower even though it was coming up?

Oh, didnt saw cigarguys posting. he already has eu on chart.
I´m getting better and better using your fantastic system. I struggled months but I see things more clearly now! Thanks alot!

On this matter, I can only speak for myself. Loeil may impart wisdom of his own.

We cannot know how price will move next. That is a "given", so taking profits when good profits are for the taking, it is not a bad thing. We do not know where price will stop. You can see that after the first stop (and that showed stopping volume), the MMs whisked the price back up....a retrace in the now "Run for Profits" phase.....to reload shorts.

If you were out before the retrace, it was an opportunity to reopen the short trade, because according to PVSRA what we should be looking for are "Runs for Profits" and the retraces in them.

Please re-read the requirements for posting that are in post #1! Please do not post with the quick order box overlaying the market panel. Please have enough consideration of other Sonicers to click it off before you post, so they can get all the information they expect!

Glad you are getting better and better! But be careful trading EU long. It seems to now be in the bear "Run for Profits" phase. If so, the least risky trading will be after the tops of upwards retraces, when a new setup forms for a Classic short trade.

In this case, the MMs might whisk price back up thru the upper whole number, for some more short building. We cannot know how price will move next, but that is a distinct possibility if they are bears. They will need liquidity for shorting, and a good way to get it is to drive the price up to suck in longs. Cigarguy might be "banking" on such a move being far enough to trade long for decent profit. But, it is a counter-trend play, and under current conditions the MMs could quickly reverse back down after themselves shorting against the sucked in longs, forcing the longs to sell before losing much money, and that selling will fuel the downwards fire.

The safest, least risky trade is to watch for the end of retraces in the "Run for Profits" phase, that leads to a Classic setup for a trade back in the "Run for Profits" direction. Do understand this.
