the gbus did have a false breakout,but to the top, see my chart earlier, but this will only be proved when and if it breaks 6475, if that number holds then it will form an upper trend line ,??

Sorry mate, yes it's a breakout.
I need to keep reminding myself I have a longer term perspective.
In that context, I see it as false because I don't think we will get follow thru.
Will have to wait and see, then again, maybe we'll see 1.38, who knows.

Just getting the hang of this and want to see if I'm reading charts right. No need to be so smug. And obviously I know no body knows for deff but I'm asking in the sense of technical analysis.

well dunno if it helps, the others will have different opinions.
in my calculation on technical side it's hit bottom and I'm expecting a retrace up.
but fundamentals on USD is picking up which means for gbpusd the overall is downward trend.
if 1.65 holds the next session which I expect is coming Monday without a break of 1.66, then you have to assume it's heading downwards to 1.62.
I have been currently wanting a bear for sometime, as I have some sell stuck in 1.63/4 levels, as I f*ed up my calculation at that time. should've cut my losses but I played it through.

markets got excited by rate guidance statement. actually there is nothing new which yellen has never said before. gbp fall is not going to be easy.

my feeling is either the techs want 1.6495 for retake of 1.6470 or we are heading towards 1.6610

Sorry i dont mean to be smug, i have too been there, sometimes when one writes it does not come across as it is meant too, the best thing to do is see what opinions other traders have???, i dont think any trader who has consideration for a novice trader would give you a solid trade in case it goes wrong, you have to watch,look and learn, and even now al of us on here get ti wrong , i do, sometimes in a big way ??, if you need any tips of what trading style you want to use,you can message me and if i can i will point you in that direction,, once again i am sorry if you too offence.

morning yes it did but not all of it , i missed the move up, see the posts above and watch out for the pattern i posted, i have played it 7 times now this year and you can nearly always get at least 20 pips out of it 99% sure

taken the profit 6552,see were we are going this morning not sure n the 15 if it is going higher because it has visited 6552 earlier will take long as and if it breaks, but i think trend could be down break of 6475 will be out of the day chart tl ??
