Very logic analysis mate, but i am trying to look from technical, yes it will going down, but from where?..... maybe after hunting SL or some buy pending order in 1.40xx area..... Bullish remain strong because i can't see reversal pattern in higher TF, still need further confirmation for bearish.

USDCNH almost to 6.20...... Question is does the PBOC let it trade up?


If they cap it here...theyd be selling USD..... i.e. drawing down Dollar FX reserves.


That would mean either using existing cash on hand, OR selling US assets to support the CNY....

Either way the longer they have to sell dollars the more out of balance the basket of FX reserves becomes, meaning they would need to shift out of EUR and GBP into more USD.

this is a very big deal.

No. PBOC only protect Yuan from appreciation, not depreciation. I do not have a USDCNY chart, but Yuan is almost tied to Hong Kong dollar. You can see there is only a floor protection.

Only China can manipulate the USDCNY now because other central banks do not have much Yuan, but China has tons of the US dollar

When I see lots of 'taps' on resistance like this it has proved very very bullish to me in the past. Breakouts are one of the hardest to trade in FX IMO. In general terms it is proven that the higher price is and the longer time it climbs in that same direction for, the more likely we are to get a trend to continue. As some have been noting here this is the 7th? week trending higher. March 6 was a big break yet we are still consolidating right under that 1.4 mark. I can only make sense of this on a weekly chart were I see the next resistance around 1.4050 area.

PBOC wants to depreciate CNY, in order to sustain growth. Either you print money like the Japanese or Americans or buy everything up like PBOC... else u can be like ECB and sit on it doing nothing...hoping everything will selfcorrect by market forces

The Japanese print money and buy foreign assets at the same time. The Fed prints money and buy the US government bonds, and the US government pay back the Fed with interests that come from the tax of American people. The Fed are robbing the American people. The Japanese are robbing the world. Go figure.

EUR/USD @ 1.3922

Massive option plays together with sovereign sellers at 1.3950 has turned EUR/USD into a insomniacs dream.

Market is/was getting itself worked up over Russia's Crimea with the US, EU and the rest of the idiots offering sanctions.

What appears to be another blip on Europe's past of territorial tug of war can be seen here from the past 1000 years.

The interesting thing in this clip is the European boarders are moving faster than the current EUR/USD ticks

1. Eur/usd still can't breakout its resist...
2. I see a triangle pattern at EU.
3. First support is 1.3880... , next will be 1.3600...
4. First resist point is 1.3945... , next will be 1.3967...

technically EU will moved downward due to technical correction (IMHo)...
