Very interesting thread. The good thing about setting high goals is it makes you give your best. I am hopeful you'll have nice results in the end of the year no matter million or whatever.

You are doing nice and steady, but can I ask you two questions:
1.what leverage do you use?
2.do you trade all pairs?

I've missed many good trades and traded not good. Either the entries or closes were too early.

There are still $115 in the account.
I won't give up.
That means: adjust the system, reverse immediately and trade only the most volatile currencies: British Pound against others.

$100 to $500 though... not bad. I wonder what the results would be if you didn't use EAs.
Any advice I provide should not be considered a financial recommendation.

No I had to trade manually.

During the night when most of the beautiful moves happened I was flat instead of invested.

So I've chosen other entries and pairs to compensate the missed trades - but that sucked because of a worse R/R.

The original idea was to trade the GBP against other volatile pairs by the help of a graph. strength meter.

The reason is simple: the british pound makes compared to other currencies more and the best movements.

So I must find a way ( I can't stay awake 24h) to do it.

How did this happened? I thought you are using a tight stop loss and I see you also have a very good risk reward ratio.

Do you trade anything other than GPB? I trade whatever is volatile when I'm trading, so if we're in London market hours I trade GBP or EUR, but if we are in Tokyo market hours I trade JPY. I also change my strategy based on the currency, so I use Ichimoku for JPY, but more MACD and Stochs for EUR.
Any advice I provide should not be considered a financial recommendation.

Yeah I was trading other pairs or just single ones that were not as volatile with bigger leverage. I think that was also a reason why I failed.

The real problem here is to stick to the original plan but that requires to be awake nearly 24/5 because of waiting for the entries and then managing the trades.

Forexbuster: Don't worry I have already new plans to achieve that goal.
I've done some testing and the R/R looks excellent.
It's possible to start again with the original approach and with Tokyo and hold to or through London session, then take a nap (some hours maybe 4h) till US opens.

I have to readjust the daily routine and schedule.
That's challenging but doable.

I won't give up.

Hi No-Luck,

Can you teach me your strategy? I know you might be very busy with forex, yet I am quite intersted in this way of trading so I was wondering if you can help me.
I don't know... you may say to me any sites, thrades or books from where I can read in order to learn to trade like this.
I would be glad to find out anything you are willing to share with me.
If you wish I can give you my skype or email. I hope I wasn't to daring!

Thanks!

Right now I'm testing the original strategy and it has a lot of false signals.
I think you wouldn't be happy with it.

So besides that I'm also testing an approach that is built on EUR/USD, DollarIndex and GOLD/SILVER.
It looks promising but I have to investigate a bit deeper.

Maybe when I think that can work we can skype, sure why not.
