Little story about me and my best friend mr.forex!
I'm 34 year old guy from Cro, living (trying to) in 4 member household.
I have, what would people in my country say a steady, nice full time job with more than country average pay check and other benefits. But still in last few years I'm covering my household costs with difficulties. Especially due to credit debt that is issued in my local currency, but correlated to CHF. We all know what happened to CHF in last few years, and imagine what happened with my debt (40% up).
So how this happened to me, even when I was studying forex markets for the last 7-8 years. Why didn't I changed my correlated to EUR from CHF, when it started to strengthen?
Because I didn't seen what was obvious, because I didn't pay attention, because , because ,....
O.K. now I must earn that differnce. How? With the same method how I lost. Trading currencies.
During this past 7-8 years I was looking for a perfect system, reading everything I could get about forex, and when I thought O.K. I',m ready to fund my broker account and start, a problem occur. Our central bank didn't allow citizens to invest in forex markets by their own, but through local brokers. That didn't suit me, so I was thinking wheter to open off shore company to start, but eventually drop out this idea, and abandon learning and improving my skills with trading forex. However I was always here and there to read something from forums about fx, mainly from FF.
Then from 2010., our central bank allowed us to trade forex market. After that I start to folow markets more often, I was trading demos, reading, following, implementing, developing, ....
Even my old opened account was still active, not funded, but active.
I spent thousands of hours in last 7-8 years study forex, but never traded it live.... I even develop and test few systems of my own, with limited success though. But all this was a part of understanding, what is really happening bellow surface (chart). I scalped with as low as 15 sec time frames, then I developed skills for intraday trades (15 min, 1 hour), then I realized that due to my day job I should develop skills for bigger time frame trades (4 h, day). I did that, I did that very well indeed. So well that I impressed few much experienced traders and investors.
I started my demo account at the end of 2010. with only 100 $, and traded 0,1$ per pip at the beginning. I grew my account till the beginning of September 2011, for amazing 10x. Wooow 10x, what if I invested 100 k, or 1 mil...
Excellent, I think all that time spent focusing on forex should pay me of finally. Let's see. The general idea is to turn only 100$ (as in demo) to ........ let's see....... My starting balance is low, so I would risk a little more, at the start to build my account faster, later on my plan is to decrease it to a acceptable level, but not too much. I could always fund my account again, if I lost.
Will this change my future, or it will be shot in nothing. The adventure begins.
Try – miss – try – miss –try – miss ..... try – success (let's reduce that ''miss'' thing)
