SAINT's Free Account Concept- $100 to 0.1 Million - Attempt Journal (Live(Real) Account)


Well,
after having made > 10000% of profits some 5 times or so
with 3 of them, documented on Forexfactory itself with proofs

& after making some 1000 to 10000% profits some >12 times, etc
& after improving my skills & understanding a lot more about market PA & my trading style's pros & cons (as far this type of trading is concerned)...
I think its time to increase the difficulty level for myself & not just try for 100 fold,
but 1000 times the starting equity, which means a target equity of 100,000% or $ 0.1 Million


This thread again would be based on "FREE ACCOUNT" Concept posted ->HERE<-
& would act as a journal for tracking attempts to convert $100 Wanna-be-Free-Account (WFA) to a $0.1 Million Successful Free Account (SFA).
BUT there would 3 more allied imp. techniques which would be employed along with the "Free account" concept. They would mainly kick in in late 2nd and 3rd stage though and i would prolly post about them then.

I am diving this into 3 Stages:
1) $100 to $1000
A difficult stage and chances of account becoming a BWFA are big.
2) $1000 to $10,000
Relatively easy stage and chances of account becoming a BWFA are less. More probability of BEFA and PFA & of course some for the target i.e. SFA
3) $10,000 to $100,000 (0.1 Mln)
Relatively difficult esp. emotionally as amount of money involved would increase & so would be the "Time costs" (time spent trading such acc. relative to the Profit milked at any point of time). Further there would be 2 other major issues in this stage. One would be liquidity & other is not worth mentioning, out here in open.

PURPOSE:
During the $100 to $10,000 Journal, i was not able to post about my Trading bias/analysis &Trade entries/edits/exits but in this attempt i would make sure i post about the same as the account grows esp. after being a PFA.
IMO that will somehow (a bit) add more filtration to my trade setups/bias
& i would be able to analyze/improve bit more about my strategy, trading style, & a couple of more things
& readers would get another thread to see/interact on some charts/analysis/etc


Also feel free to butt in, with your comments, if you have a plan/technique/view they can help me (in some way), to complete this target

Update 1 (11th Mar 2013)

Update 2 (13th Mar 2013/Attempt 1)

- As Starting equity is same for both >100 Fold Challenge thread< & this, attempts would be same for both. Though probability of this target would always be 10 times less than 100 Fold, theoritically (& may be 100 times less emotionally.. )
-Earlier EURUSD longs were playing out good but the spike lows messed some trades> In anyway LONG BIAS worked out nicely & Account is up nicely >750% (Float). Would have made lot more on GBPUSD longs rather (as i did in my conventional trading acc). Anyway
- Good nice PA and Volatility. Lets c how the week ends.

Update 3 (15th Mar 2013/Attempt 1)
- Most EURUSD longs finally paid off; Currently holding Net EU & GU Shorts
- Account made free(Initial equity withdrawn) + $100 milked.
- Account Profits up by ~ 3300% (Float); 1st Stage Completed.
- Account Status = PFA; Milked Equity = $100; Total Attempt P/L(till date) = (+) $100

Update 4 (17th Mar 2013/Attempt 1)
- What a weekly opening
- Major EURUSD shorts finally paid off post some 150+ pip gap down (courtesy cyprus weekend bail-out (actually a bail-in) fiasco)
- GBPUSD shorts still ON & paying.
- Account Profits up by ~ 11500% (Float); 2nd Stage Completed.
- Account Status = PFA; Milked Equity = $1229.17; Total Attempt P/L(till date) = (+) $1229.17

Update 5 (22nd Mar 2013/Attempt 1)
- What a week again. Enjoyed most of it except that this attempt didn't work out
- Was carrying EURUSD longs, didn't play out early on. Added good amount of Longs @ good support LVL's based on PA. (Rumours galore as usual).
Was heavily scaling in for the move the same day itself which actually happened past the asian session next day.
- Was scalping the next day in the chop but spikes ruined the left over non-milked equity.
- Only gripe is the fact that expected at least $2k of milked equity out of this (as per plan/equity history). Missed that target
- Account Profits up by 958% (31$ NBP-entry wrongly shown as deposit)

Update 6 (1st April 2013/Attempt 2)
- New attempt started & Explorer linked
- Presently carrying EURUSD longs.Have strong Bullish bias till 1.2754 is breached on downside. On upside, looking @ 1.2800 first. if Breaks&holds 1.2855 next, then 1.2890's, if B&H's at least1.3 likely.

Update 7 (8th April 2013/Attempt 2)
- FYI explorer was down because Fxpro server files with them were old/buggy. Danny from T.Explorer Support confirmed the issue over email & fixed them (Anyone needs proof; PM me)
- Well, though the mentioned EURUSD BIAS played out as expected, it moved with a lot of chop
- Earlier in the week longs from 1.2790's played out beautifully and shorts were taken as exact top of 1.2875's.
- Expected the retrace down but only till 1.2820's which actually prolonged to 1.2790's, killing the longs & account. That became actually the Pre-ECB conf. bottom for fiber
- Account was up by ~1300% (Float) in between & withdrawal request of starting equity was issued (but the upmove was very short lived;withdrawal didn't get processed)
- Account Status = BWFA; Milked Equity = $0; Total Attempt P/L(till date) = (+) $1131

Update 8 (22nd April 2013/Attempt 3)

- Many major pairs like EURUSD, USDCHF, GBPUSD are IMO almost primed for breakdowns/breakouts. Would be nice to see some moves this week. April monthly close would be very insightful for future possibilities.

- With EURUSD longs, Account reached profits of 300% float, early on. But GBPUSD shorts didn't play out as expected

- USDCHF Longs hit SL's @ BE after a 40% profit float; Later GBPUSD Longs paid 150%but Shorts later didn't play out as expected.

Update 12 (15th July 2013/Attempt 5)

- AUDUSD shorts paid nicely till 350% and later large sniper longs starting from this weekly swing low 9034 paid nicely
- Account made free (Initial equity of $97.30 withdrawn) + $2000 milked.
- Account Profits up by ~7100% ; 1st Stage Completed.

Update 13 (29th July 2013/Attempt 5)
- GBPUSD longs paid nicely till account was up ~9500% realized profits (close to 2nd stage completion)
- USDJPY longs from ~99.90's were a scalp for 50-80pips (till 100.75-101). Went to 100.44 but not before taking a good chunk of account in drawdown around swing lows of 99.10 & booking losses.
- AUDUSD longs from ~9180's played out perfectly for expected 9300 but not before busting the left over equity, around swing lows of 9130 (9150 was the max. expected lows in that swing)
- Applying a varied withdrawal strategy this time, Additional $2400 were milked post the free account withdrawal($97.30) & $2000 milked earlier
- Account Status = PFA; Milked Equity = $4400; ; Total Attempt P/L(till date) = (+) $5333

Update 14 (29th July 2013/Attempt 6)

- Possibly some opportunities possible this week in some majors like EURUSD, USDCHF, GBPUSD, AUDUSD etc. Though chances of the range bound chop continuing aint low.

Update 15 (1st Aug 2013/Attempt 6)
- USDCHF Longs were giving profits 250%+ Float pre-FOMC and was expecting this current move up (currently ~160 pips since Swing lows of 9227)
But all hit SL due to chop before the move & another attempt gone.
- Didn't have a ready made 100$ account setup, so by the time it was done, OPTIMUM entry levels (9230-9250) had come and gone. Further asian session started the next leg of upmove, which i generally avoid.

Update 16 (2nd Aug 2013/Attempt 7)

- AUDUSD longs were taken ~8895 but spiked lower to 8877 (Swing Low Pre-NFP) & killed the attempt.(Thereafter went ~80 pips to swing highs of 8868)

- Some sniper GBPUSD longs were taken from 1.5150 & quite a large no. of longs were added, on the way to 1.5390, at 1.5230,1.5260, 1.5330 1.5260. Paid nicely with profits of 8000%+ float. Hit Trailing stops thereafter.
- Account made free (Initial equity of $97.30 withdrawn) + $1001 milked.

- Additional $4000 milked from account.

Update 21 (15th Aug 2013/Attempt 8)
- Additional $801 milked from account.
- USDCHF Shorts were taken around 9330 (a SUP turned RES LVL) played out well initially but pair retraced the y'day's spike down. More shorts were added on upper minor RES LVL's. Retraced back down till 9337, before data release, but not as expected. Floating stops were placed @ $1000 equity but US data release spike killed the account. ($512.90 is a NBP Entry from broker;not a deposit)

- AUDUSD longs were taken ~8980 >Moved up to 9021 making 500% profit float but retraced back to 8990 (was expecting a retrace till 9000 only) & killed the leveraged positions. Thereafter went ~50 pips upswing to 9040. ($6.5 is a NBP Entry from broker;not a deposit)

- AUDUSD longs were again taken ~8980 >Moved up to 9041 (60pips)making 700% profit float but retraced back to BE trailing stops. Again took longs @ 9000> Spiked back down to 9000 (once again) killing the attempt

- NZDUSD longs worked out great..heavy in-scaling was done at appropriate LVL's; account went up ~12500% float but failure to reach proper LVL's, weekend profit booking(deep retrace) & not appropriate acc preservation killed the attempt. Main bad that appropriate milking was delayed too as per rules .Some things to note for future

- Account toast. GBPUSD bullish bias played out great to hit 1.46+ but only after toasting the account . Again a leveraging issue with small acc's. Learning & testing PA related tricks is good, but sometimes its worth the time and then to hurry things up, positions are exaggerated and then it all screws up(Details)

Update 73 (24th Feb 2016/Attempt 35)
- Very EventFul day (BREXIT) . Margin issues else would have traded multiple of these accounts (as usual trading is not possible). Anyhow margin of non GBP-EUR currencies not affected with this broker. Took some commo shots on friday day end itself (Bearish about NZDUSD more than AUD , thanks to AUDNZD bullish BIAS)

Wow way to start. I can't really compete since i am based in the U.S where mandatory leverage is 1:50 and most of the most stable and respected offshore brokers don't accept us anymore anyway i just went through a few of your twitter images and i have to say your analysis is pretty amazing

Regarding leverage,
high/low leverage doesn't make money. It just hastens money making/losing. (Many people just DONT understand this simple thing).
Money is made with good trading skills (which involves more than a couple of things)

- Update 4 updated.
- Was carrying large-sized Cable Longs from yesterday. Earlier entries were @ some (forceful) bad levels, giving a large drawdown. But support levels worked and PA was helpful. More longs were added. 1.3142 was what i was exactly looking for YESTERDAY but post the morning fake Dip, i was looking for Retest of previous Swing highs ~ + 1.5170's.
- At last 1.3142 was hit and account was up 4000% more, but good chunk of bear stops were not cleared & was still offered good, up there. It hit the stops @ ~BE at last. It can still take out HOD but i am not sure.
- EURUSD is stuck in a tight hole (oops..i mean tight range)... thanks to "levy" indecision & cribbing courtesy political monkeys
- EURGBP was acting too much and comments were hitting the wires from every dick and harry from CYPRUS (defence ministers, tv channels, dog training houses, etc) and from ECB and allied (just too much noise)
- USDCHF is still under pressure (when i saw it last time)

-As promised (to myself & in main post), i am gonna start posting charts and trade setups from tomorrow (most prolly)

- To those who are tracking this thread, i advise not trading based on the explorer. 1stly, this is not some conventional trading. 2ndly I am very quick to take decisions/change BIAS based on charting and most of my actions are non-replicable tracking an explorer(not even on my multiple accounts; requotes galore), which is sometimes delayed by even 15 minutes !
- To those who have PM'ed and thinking to PM for teaching, signals, books, threads, links and other stuff to read or help, I am sorry (at least as of now). As i have already told (in my profile), i wont be able to help esp. with teaching and signals stuff. (I prefer making my own million rather than making a million (unlikely) grabbing money, luring others, for some "SPECIAL" signals.)
There is too much info for free floating around. Exercise your common sense, find something "old" that interests you and suits your trading style. Work on it. learn and Evolve yourself.(Trading for living is the most difficult professional out there but damn rewarding if tamed)

I don't care about what you say. whoever adds loads of trades with a 70% DD knows nothing about serious trading. If you're supporting this, you are not a better trader than the guy himself, period.

I'm a fan of the 'free trade' idea, are you still using this at this point? Is there a specific time frame you use (larger TF's would explain larger drawdowns).
Notice on one of your other threads your pic's included MA's and Trendlines. Do you use a TL breakout strategy exclusively?
