I'm also pretty sure it will gap lower on open. I just don't know whether it will try to fill the gap? This could be a nice profitable short trade, with high pip value and a small trailing SL. Anyone think this is a good strategy? Obviously I will wait a bit and see how its looking so i at least can have a break-even SL very quickly.

am holding 2 heavy longs at 1.2150 and 1.2170, would not short at these levels until it goes down to near 1.21 and comes up again and will not add a long until 1.21 first and 1.2020 later on. A today close below 1.2160s is very bearish, unless EC opens up there on Sunday
In my experience, market will open in a gap, what would be the number is the question that will have a brighter view as market open nears.
Currently, it's around 1.2117, it will not open above 1.2120s for sure. Technically nothing strange like I said weeks ago, after 1.2180s and 1.2165-70, 1.2110s have come. If 1.21 gets broken, nothing left than 1.2020s before the peg.
If it's because Ukraine political and military threats by Russia or because outer forces, I don't believe in both but would respect the latter if this is the case because this safe haven concept is very stupid to be real moving the market.

Traders who said that their accounts are in danger or big dd's had not calculate their margin level and leverage well from the peg distance before executing EC longs

Who are waiting for an intervention by the SNB, it would not happen, at least not before London Session, set assure.
EC Bulls are not waiting for SNB to rescue accounts but to grow it massively in seconds or few minutes.
Price might experience some spikes of 30-50 pips to drop to the initial in some seconds if price goes to 1.2050 or something there.
Technically, EC price would go to 1.2130s or 1.2150 normally, so long it if you hadn't yet, good shorts would start at the gap close and better at 1.2165-70 previous support. A breakout from there and price would be in the 1.2190s. Price will still filter below 1.2250 in all cases except intervention
