I only really use it on the higher TF's and should really draw my own. I think the insanity indicator, leaves an empty box for zones that are not 'fresh' though supdem has 'kill retouches' option. It just basically gives me a rough idea of where price action is going to get hung up, or will reverse.

Pull back bar formed on GU M15. I was watching it but thought price wouldn't reverse right away after such move and didn't take it. As it turned out, I should. lol

I thinks it looks very difficult to trade this system on a M5 chart. Looks like a whipsaw, considering the many TDI crossings. How do you handle?

In the spirit of giving I am a programmer by day and have written a lot of mql, I use MT5 as it is more powerful for developing indis etc. I had to write the TDI based on the MT4 one so if anyone want it let me know and I ll upload it here.

For those following UJ, we saw how the market traded in H1 yesterday. It went sideways for few hours then we have a LH with a Master Candle consolidation.

As I wrote in my post above, we look for H4 setup and that did show up yesterday with a double inside bar DIB and a nice 3-bars bearish setup.

That channel using three swing points did play out well so far. Now we see bounce from the Historical swing level 102.04 (BRN 102.00) and consolidates again with IB. there is also a rising trendline below and se shall see how price will trade around this 102.00 and this trendline below.

This TMS method uses the 5EMA shift+3, on Close price.

To better understand why the use of shift+3 on an Exponetial Moving Average, you can google "Displaced Moving Average" as keyword and read up on this DMA. There are trading strategies build around using multiple DMAs but here in TMS thread we should not deviate from the basic core method or else some members will remind us again and again to 'keep it simple'.

BataviaTrade:

I don't trade M5 or even M15 on its own.
I trade mostly H4 and using M15 to fine tuned entries which will give me a smaller initial SL so that I can have a better position size.

How to handle trading M5 or M15?

Well, to put it simply, it is the same multi-timeframe approach where we must reconcile with the next higher TF like H1 and H4, and to look only for those A+++ trades.

Alsousing the 5SMMA as PAC will help visually where the volatility is.

AU 26 Feb view:

Those using server GMT+1 and GMT+2 will see a new D candle closed. GMT+0 server will have another 45+ minutes to have a new D opening soon.

Which ever the chart sever time used, the D chart shows an inside bar due to yesterday' consolidation. This is an opportunity to trade the Day IB breakout.

What is a more interesting opportunity is that all different server time D charts will show you a rare Pop Gun setup which can be the next opportunity for position traders.

Anyway, TMS will be the method we use for market entry. Your trades exit(s) will depend on your own Exit Strategy which must include the 'Let Profit Run' market situation when there is a breakaway trend.

this condition also happens with EU no? (inside bar that is)

Could the experts on this thread guide me if this ABCD pattern Fib indicator is working the right way in detecting ABCD pattern. I found it on the web and implemented on my AU chart.

Anyone have any idea why backtesting for certain session indicators (especially sessions) doesn't work? Using the Xi-Sessions 1.00.

For certain pairs it's able to go till 1 year back, some it goes 3 months.

Or anyone has a decent session indicator to share? Daily_lineboxes doesn't work for me as it doesn't display Friday's data properly (due to broker's time)

yes, there is also a D IB seen in EU. The previous D candles with long upper and lower shadows/wicks.

EU D chart shows market in contraction mode and right now looks like a Ascending Flat Top (see pic below)
if I have to pick a breakout direction, I will chose UP for my Plan A.
should that turn out to be a fakey, then my Plan B will be obvious.
