so this pair shoots down and i see the spread on it around 20 pips which is way way larger than it's normal spread and i am short so it price the bid shoots way past down my entry but due to the spread the i am still in the red is this manipulation by oanda?

took profit from the news trade. now looking for further downside with pending at 1.664.

it happens to everyone. it happens to me just earlier actually. but my pending were tight so i was still able to profit. the ride earlier were better with geppy tho.

during news time, that's how it is. fxcm does that, oanda does that, ibfx does that, i never trade news or live with fxpro so iduno about them. as those are/were the 4 brokers i used.

so fundamentally speaking what do you guys think about the unemployment rate? maybe it was the cold ass winter so don't weight too much on it? comment?

Can someone explain why the claimants are fewer but the unemployment rate is up? Is it because it takes time for people to get on the claimant registry? If that is the case, why isn't the unemployment rate the more important bit of news?

Last 4 times testing the 1.666 level price has been quickly rejected. Seems to me the buyers at this level are know being over run and level could break.

Looking into the other indicators, specifically the recent manufacturing and services PMIs it just looks like the UK growth is leveling off. Most of the boom seems to have originated from a mini housing bubble stoked by Fed QE, BoJ QE, UK Government Funding for Lending and Help to Buy programs. Also probably new entrants to the labor force after seeing chances of getting a job have improved took unemployment rate higher.

Now that the home price appreciation has occured, that marginal bit of extra growth from that wealth affect has already played out.

Theoretically, 3 tests on the same level invalidates the support/resistance. Anything more just goes to weaken it further...2 cents

The more tests the higher the probability, also the way it comes into that level and reacts gives a big indication of whether the supply/demand will hold or fail.

I thought the more tests, the more solid the SUP/RES is. If ever test failed, means it need better momentum to break, isn't it?
