Anybody risking going long up here 1.68

for a few pips

Is it going to crawl back down

greed an fear

EUR/US getting pretty high also

A few hours of pumping it up

Thought there would be plenty of people taking profit at 1.682

Currently at 138 fib ext.
I got a feeling we going to 150 ext today/tomorrow.
Not buying from here, but looking for sell hints above.

yesterday carney hinted the tue/wed releases will be on par with consensus so I think the price will not go below high side of 1.65xx before it goes up again or it will just go up again after a very brief dip.

I would recommend waiting for the H4 and H1 charts to settle down before entering new longs. It made sense to take profit/go short at 1.6820. We may have to wait until London open to get more clarity, but a re-look at 1.677x is likely. Scalpers may get something buying 1.6800 though as there is some support there, but I'd rather wait and see how London open develops. caution: i am not suggesting blindly buying 1.6800 because if we go lower you may lose money, it just *may* work as a quick scalp, or it may not. i'm certainly not doing it.

I understand. And I wasn't calling you a liar or anything. Only pointing out your past accuracy. Its one thing to say London desk is going short soon. Its another thing to say, London desk is going heavy short on Monday.Wouldn't you agree? Granted, you've been correct about the shorting, it seems. But you're timing has been off.

yeah, so now we're through 1.6800. so forget trying to scalp 10 ticks. terrible R/R doing this kind of stuff, even though it can work in some situations, unless you are a genius

Just a thought, a monthly pin bar from a while ago. Kinda where I would be looking for weakness, sure hasent been any in the last week lol. Only a couple hundred pips away atm , NY being absent for the most part it is possible I guess. If and when it goes above that cable does like the 272 and 618 fib extensions . Being a monthly chart there should be some up and down but it seems that thinking has spilled some bear blood the last week.

For now, not looking for anything more than 1.675x which is a bit of a reach. Maybe have to settle for less. So similar to what you're saying. Reevaluate if we do get back down there to see what's next. Yes I know this doesn't put any of the remaining 1.6650 and 1.6700 shorts into the money but keep dreaming or take advantage of a dip to stop out like a man and live to fight another day instead of getting tortured on any possible further oscillation above your entry point

Been there, done that before... it is not a good use of your margin and time
