Yes its happening again flows going through euro.
Europe is still on the top tier to park your money, specially with inflation risks effectively at 0. Your wealth doesnt erode here.

It is not necessarily true that higher UST yields are a necessary condition for a stronger dollar. The historical evidence says otherwise.
I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Yep. Its exactly that. If you see comodity currencies(aud,nzd) selling-off (losing versus usd), they will lose as much or more versus the euro.
And If you see them gaining versus the dollar they will win even more versus the euro. So dollar will paradoxically seem stronger.

Everybody will change their perception, when it hits around 1.40 it will be common knowledge.
I'm already seeing sell-side/hedge-funds caputalating a bit hehe
