Hi Zo - the confusion is that usually there are only two baselines for the other thread - T3 and T4Y. But the post includes monthly baselines for T4F and and T5_103, which only appear in this thread which deals with templates that have a year long baseline - so it is confusing to hear that there are monthly baselines for those templates.

HELLO EVERYONE! I READ THRU THE WHOLE THREAD. It's hard to believe that this is true. I am trying this out since wednesday and things are going well so far. We will see if it holds up long term. the key is in the numbers and the template. I like this indicator. Gives a good picture of the market. Good pippin' great weekend to all.

i became a believer when Bobi gave us major tops and bottoms to the pip... he hasn't done though for a long time now - busy guy but never seen anything more accurate than this... welcome to the thread

My weekly analysis - found it hard this week as there seem to be alot of mixed signals.

AU contiues to throw out some confusing messages. We have an unfinished T5_103 short, which when if it completes will trigger signals potentially down 0.8005. Conversely it triggered a buy on T5_2_2, which could trigger signals up to 0.9365. That's a 1300 pip range. It's going to be interesting working out how to trade.

Dear hollo,can you please check and confirm eur/usd T5-2-2(965) bullish break -I think price travel from below 23.6 to 50 which is from below 1.3409(FXDD)

This is an old signal. I take the rise from below 23.6% in Dec 13 and the fact that price opened above the 50% signal on 2 Jan 14 to validate the trade (I know others don't). I'm not particulalry married to the signal and I won't lose sleep over whether the trade is right or wrong as Bobi has previously stated EU is going to see 1.44 in 2014.

HI Dear hollo please check EUR/USD T4F_220 I think we have bull signal and target is 1.36891 and also in AUD/USD if Price touch .86203 in T5_1_103 it will break %50 of T4Y_680 and target is .85055

Please check again there is no line with number 3737 in T4F_220

Hi mehmed - no this is not a valid EU trade according to T4F rules. T4F is a fail trade. If price fails to reach the target you are pointing out, and reverses below the 100% by 10 pips then there will be a T4F short trade on.

Yes there is a strong chain reaction of trades taking AU down to 0.8005, starting with the T4Y_680 short you are referring to. But there is also a strong chain reaction of trades long - I see the range for AU being big in 2014.

how much drawdown are you willing to take on a trade? this euro i am looking at may not stop till it gets till 1.3920... i am bearish up to 3690 but after that -

in T4F_220 Price after broke %38.2 =1.36050 didn't fall under %100=1.35210 and didn't Fail then price should rich %76.4=1.36891
in AU I couldn't understand what do you mean if it is possible please explain more

I've pretty much taken whatever it takes - I'm currently -250 pips on the AU T5_103 short at the bottom - I think the most I have been is about 600 pips BUT, I am hedged for a decent section of the trade. So if a T5_103 goes against me, it may go 4 phases up before it returns. I will trade those 4 trades up and then trade them down again. So, roughly speaking 4 phase =103x4=412 pips, I will take 4x40 pips up = 160pips (so I am actually only down 252 pips in real terms), but then I trade the three signals down again, 40X3 down=120. I will have made 280pips and I am back fulfilling the original trade with no DD - I am well up. This has happened several times.

I just have to be convinced that the original trade will be filled eventually, and then take the trades up and down to diminish the actuall DD to my account.

It means you trade with smaller lots, but you have no losers and you gain more pips when the original trade goes against you. You need balls of steel and an absolute conviction that the trades are sound, but it has worked for me.

mehmed - you are right in that Bobi says that if price crosses the 38.2 it should reach 76%, BUT the T4F template is not there to take that trade. It is there to take the failure. It is a trend reversal template. Bobi says if it fails (which you will not know until it reaches the 76% level), then it WILL/MUST reach the opposite target. Question is do you want to take the first 'should' trade or the second 'WILL/MUST' trade.

Now, I have traded the orignal trade as you are suggesting, but I stopped. Why?, because it is prone to fail and I don't like failed trades, since trading abonacci I have had very few (thanks to Bobi), and becasue of how I trade the system (see post above), closing a trade in significant DD will set me back. So I chose to trade it as Bobi designed it - which is to trade the reversal/failiure.

What I mean by a chain reaction is that completing the T5_103, will trigger a T4Y_680 short, completing that will trigger another short on another template, and then that will trigger another and then another all the way down to 0.8005. I can't remember the actual trades triggered beyond the T4Y_680, but I am pretty sure it worked out that way when I checked.
