Probably yes. I am waiting EUR/GBP to go above probably another 100 pips more, only that time I will consider an Entry short for the Cables. Probably I will miss Cable big correction, but it is better to miss 1 than to loss 1 opportunity.

I'm dubious on the effect of a cross on a major, since the volume on the major is much higher - like holding a candle to the sun? Would have to see some numbers ...

Hello thread readers

All set for U.s NFP? Long, Short or flat going into it ?

Daily shows where the support has been as the downtrend on time frames up to 4hr is halted (at least for now ?) .....what is the most likely outcome re NFP and effect on this pairing - gbpusd ? Well from what we know there is most likely to be a bounce back from the disappointing headline number last time round - that's certainly the consensus expectation and some discussion re how the un-emp rate is calculated could see further drops in that soon which may not accurately reflect what is actually going on there re employment. So, any number way short of the forecast and particularly below last month's could most likely see a $ sell off and vice versa.
